We've had one cat who died of old age, and we have 2 now who are about 6 and I'm a 21y old guy who would be in total tears if anything was to happen to either of them..

It's always sad to see animals go, but I think that's the way life has to go. At the end of the day what's important is that she isn't suffering anymore with being sick.

That sucks man, always does losing a beloved pet but had a sick kitty as well and that's just the worst way. Sorry for the loss, those are some nice reminders indeed though, cherish the good times!

Sad to hear. I'm glad you got to see her though. When my dog of 14 years was put to sleep I was away at college and didnt get to say good bye.

Dogs instead, but they bond with you just as much, if not more. And I'm about to lose 1 dog in any time within the next year or 2 max. 14 year old dog that has grown up with me. She just lost the ability to use her back right leg effectively to walk and I was forced to go to school a few minutes late because I had to help her go up and down the steps even more than usual (before it was just balance loss, now it might be something more). I'm sorry. I just lost my 16 year old dog on Saturday so i can relate. It actually would have been his 16th birthday today.

Every day is getting a bit better, but it sure is tough. I'm sure we will only have good memories of our little buddies as time passes

Oh wow, what a beautiful cat. I'm very very tremendously sorry for your loss. I can say without any shame that my cat is my best friend. I hope you and your family will be alright because the day I lose my cat is the day I'm afraid I may fall apart, I love her so much. Again, I'm very sorry, and it must have been hard to put her down, but at least she's not suffering.
