BTW, where does the plugin save its data? Since it can't recalculate from replays, I surely want to a backup sometimes, to avoid losing anything! And one final things: in case more data uploaded could be beneficial for calculating various leagues' tiers, wouldn't be a good idea to get in touch with the SC2Gears' author, to incorporate this plugin with the original application, in order to make it spreading out more?

I have an idea how i can guess your tier, only on your own data, pretty good. Working on it... One minor enhancement to consider would be adding a moving average line to the chart. Since I think we know blizz uses a moving average to calculate league promotions/demotions it might worth throwing a 20 game/50 game moving average on there just to give you an idea of where you might sit on this basis?

After a few games with sc2gears running in the background, I go to plugins->mmr calculator. Then, I see the message pre-trigger is loading, and sc2gears completely freezes. After closing and opening both sc2 and sc2gears (in any order), sc2gears still crashes the moment I open up the mmr calculator. Help!

Help! do you have autosave enabled? when you open sc2gears first and click the tool does the pretrigger run? when not does he run when you enter a game? does the posttirgger run directly after the game?

I suspect this is a special case that may have something to do with players that have a high sigma (uncertainty) value and/or low number of games played. However these are the exception not the rule. A correction for those who take interest: I found out there was an error with a number that was inserted into excel incorrectly. This is good news because it means we have yet to see a case where the F function predicts MMR which contradicts results from matches.

So, to ask again: since we can't recover data from replays, is there an easy way to backup the data and avoid losing it like that? EDIT: after a PC restart, I find the settings still there (my profile is correctly entered) but all the game data lost again! Seems like it hasn't saved this time..

From what Ive gathered, it only collects on games where opponents have a bonus pool and SC2 Gears has to be running during the match.
