When I look at the other players in Ro8, it feels like it's just a metagame thingy (or balance, I know it's taboo talking about it..) going on and the other 7 players arent GSL Finals material at all (maybe Parting tho?)..there are better players than the Ro8 players that dropped down or didnt make it to Ro8, like MMA, Leenock, NesTea, Alive, MC, DRG ..etc. edit: hopefully MVP wins the goddamn final now.

In fact, we're worried that terran might be too stong, and are considering removing their "level 3" upgrades." /rant MVP FIGHTING To be honest they are balancing it at the highest levels of play, I'm sure they can see Protoss is in a very strong place right now. Problem is that at this level it doesn't matter what the race balance is like, it's just about strategy and mindgames; like Mvp said he's punishing PartinG/NaNiwa for going for being too greedy, and that's the reason he's winning. Proper macro games undoubtedly end with Protoss winning unless they're heavily crippled early on, so most of the TvPs will look like all-ins until Blizzard decides the match-up is not working out.

No matter how far MVP's physical condition deteriorates, he'll still have this strategic decision-making edge + he has lots of experience playing on the big stage and no nerve problems.

Before today, Parting just defended against everything and got the composition he needed to win. Today, he went a bit overboard. I’ve been talking to him since ro8 and he said time and time again that he would make the finals as long as he got to ro4. Since then, I expected to win. Overconfidence can be anyone’s downfall."" WHy are you SO SMART mvp?

Fuck yeah MVP. And his parallel comment is really amazing. He's so nice, no matter what he's talking about.

Imagine the backlash if MVP somehow rolled Squirtle 4-0 or 4-1 in the finals and Blizzard decides to nerf something from Terran due to it. I think Blizzard has a bit more common sense than that and won't necessarily try to pander to any Toss players that QQ if this happens, but I've been wrong before... Either way, it's interesting how MVP really didn't train hard in his matches vs. Parting. I figure he will at least watch the vods of aLive vs. Squirtle on IPL 4 finals or maybe even talk to aLive to figure out a way to beat Squirtle.
