Edit: As of june 3rd, the team seems to be informally and (for now) unofficially disbanded. Since the drama seems to have begun on this thread and not in a new one, I'd just like to say that even though I posted this announcement, I am not affiliated with NOM management and can't provide answers to all the questions.
Please don't use this thread to add to the drama, it really doesn't belong here.
NOM-Gaming is an israeli-based esports organisation, founded in 2009. With its israeli starcraft2 lineup created almost a year ago, NOM has been working on developing the israeli scene, and has competed against other teams in the israeli community. With very strong sponsorships, NOM was struggling to make good use of its resources, given the very small size of the israeli community.
Today, NOM-Gaming is proud to announce that it has finally taken the next step and expanded its reach into Europe, effectively acquiring 7 European players and an additional israeli player.

"When we first considered adding European players to our lineup, I saw it as a professional way to advance as an organisation which would open up a lot of possibilities for the future. It is important for me to emphasize that I have hope in each and every one of our new players, who were recruited on account of their potential and professionalism. I will do my best to help my players develop, such that we may one day see NOM-Gaming competing at the highest of levels."
- Shahar "frAsE" Meir, NOM-Gaming Manager
"I'm very grateful for this opportunity. Team NOM.ESET holds the values of a true esport team that I would represent. I will give it my all to make the team proud and produce the results in lans and tournaments that I know I can deliver with the right support. Thank you NOM.ESET for this opportunity! "
- Mattias "Naugrim" Ottosson
With a small lineup of israeli players, we have already competed at major events around the world, including ESWC, MLG, and GSL qualifiers. Having more than doubled our manpower in a week, we are very excited to see where we will find ourselves in the future.
You can find many of the players streaming their games regularly on Teamliquid.

I'll admit I have no clue who any of these guys are except naugrim and I think I've seen rmdx's name pop up a few times in the European cups still good luck to everyone involved and I hope to see more out of this team.

as a former NOM player, i advice to all players to get as far as possible from this team. we r talking about a manager that dnt fulfill his promisses. never. if u can read hebrew, this is one of many topics about NOM on the israeli comunity: http://www.zergling.co.il/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3065
i wish NOM nothing. i do wish the players wnt folow promisses. there r alot of better teams, and more improtant, better owenrs.

and the usual drama started!
btw I must admit that " if u can read hebrew" had me giggling

as a former NOM player myself, I'd also advise to all players (including the new ones) to be wary of this team. They have yet to pay most of their EX-players their promised salaries, haven't payed tournament winnings to a multitude of players (some ranging from more than half a year ago), and have been cited (with proof) to have made racist remarks.
Ignoring all these (though heinous) facts, they also have players who have been caught multiple times stream cheating, map hacking, and match fixing I advise all players to steer clear of their tournaments, their players and any and all activities done by NOM.

shalom le kolam, everyone.

I'm not as familiar with NOM's line up but look forward to seeing how they preform at tournaments this year! GL to everyone involved with NOM!

omNom fighting <3
Frankly I'm not too familiar with the roster other than Naugrim and kAra, but gl to you anyway
|
I'm also happy being a part of NOM. It has some of the best players in my country, plus a lot of other good players of high master and grandmaster level. I can improve a lot by practicing with my team mates. I think this team has a lot of potential to improve in the future and gather great players from around europe.
