Parting and Oz. They'll probably take a bit of Squirtle's play in IPL and walk all over the Terrans. Although Polt can probably figure it out and win, I don't think Fin will. I won't be surprised if Polt goes 2-Nil, but I except the tosses to hop, skip, dance through the group.

Although, it wouldn't surprise me to see Oz make it either.

I'm thinking Parting and Polt. At least I really hope Parting makes it through.

PartinG/Oz/Polt have all been consistently putting up great results while fOrGG has been overhyped and been disappointing Overhyped yes Disappointing? lets take a look at some stats.. Fin/Forgg's results in televised GSL games.. (GSL Nov 2011, GSL Season 1 2012, GSL Season 2 2012) TvP: 8-2 _ 80% TvT: 3-3 _ 50% TvZ: 2-3 _ 40% Total: 13-8 _ 61.9% + Show Spoiler [bo3 results] + Wins Sage _ 2-0 Polt _ 2-0 July _ 2-0 cOre _ 2-0 Losses Leenock _ 0-2 MC _ 1-2 TheStC _ 1-2 + Show Spoiler [bo1/UpDowns] + Wins Killer HuK Brown Losses Lucky Virus The way he was getting hyped to win the GSL on his first try was abit silly (I was cheering for him to do so ), to say he has been disappointing is also just as silly. The other 3 players have been putting up great results, but aside from Parting that has been at foreigner tournaments. While those tournaments have alot of talented players participating, Code S is on another level entirely. Anyway this group is very very interesting. Travelling/fatigue, preparation (or lack there of). PartinG was a beast in Season 1, he ate terrans for breakfast... though Jjakji & NaDa both took a game off him (Nada ro32, Jjakji ro16). If he isn't too drained from IPL/travelling I would say he is the favourite (thanks to his beastly PvT) Oz got got a ro16 finish in Code S season 1, which is a decent result indeed. But when he hit the ro16.. two wild terrans appeared. He beat Supernova, lost to MMA twice. He hasn't faired well against GSL calibre Terrans at foreign tournaments this year either. History says he should be fine in his PvP match up vs Parting, he won last they played (I think). But he's going to have to step up his PvT to beat Polt or Fin. Like Parting we will see how much or how little of a part fatigue might play. Polt... well as far as his 2012 GSL adventure has gone so far, ro48 Code A he lost to Creator and fell into the abyss that is known as Code B. Now he is seeded back into Code S (deservedly so). In his travels to other lands he's beaten GSL calibre terran & protoss players but also lost to them aswell, its going to be very interesting to see how he does in this group. He seems to have travelled well so far, hopefully that continues tonight because Polt playing well is a pleasure to watch. That leaves us with Fin.. a very solid terran, some people feel underwhelmed while watching him play, others are amazed. I wonder how different peoples opinions of him would be if we never had the ridiculous hype train, not to mention his MSL title. If there was one weakness to his game from where I'm looking it can be his decision making at times. If he plays well he might take this group, but if he doesn't he could find himself in the first round of Code A again. The difference between him and the rest of the players in this group, preparation time and the possibility of the others being slightly fatigued from travelling. If there is one place Fin has shown good play its been in the booth at the GomTV studio. My liquibets are Parting > Polt, Fin > Oz. Parting & Fin advancing. But I wouldn't put real money on those predictions. Hopefully Parting/Polt/Oz aren't too tired and we get some cracking games, been looking forward to this group since season 2 groups were announced. ps. Holy shit wall of text O_o

First he was hyped a lot after he directly made it to Code S. Then he couldnt meet the expectations (vs MC and Leenock) and was marked as 'overhyped'. While in fact he hasnt played that long, and is still improving a lot. I expect him to get out this time. His weak matchup seems to be vs Zerg. I'm not too convinced of Oz PvT so he is the slight outsider. Between Parting and Polt its tough. Gonna go with Parting.
