For months and months I tried to get really good, maybe dreaming of one day being a really good player. But I'm not as good at video games as I am at say, chess, and my Starcraft 2 league play is bronze or silver level, I was smart enough to scower the forums every day, trying to apply what I'd read. And you know what? I played one thousand games, and I'm still in bronze. I'm NEVER getting out of bronze, not till the day they reset the MMR and I feel like I can play without boring myself. I don't play Melee, but I'm a competitive guy, I need a competitive custom to keep myself entertained. I chose SC2 LoTRish personally. I am sixteen, and I'm a smart guy, but I'm not so great at video games, i'd need to be coached, I don't care enough for that. Let's say I had played a thousand games in diamond, maybe I would've adapted. But in bronze its the same shit over and over again. And I stopped playing mid season 1, I don't care enough to play more. Besides, if something is popular, its not fun to promote, and I've always loved getting feedback on stuff people have never heard of. Anyway, if your interested in SC2 LoTR pm me, UloseTheGame.140, and maybe i'll tell you a bit about, but I'm never going back to horrid bronze league. I saw someone who said "Im scared to raise my children in a world with these people", well you know, I'm scared to one day raise MY children in a world of ignorant dumbfucks like you. I wish you all a very good day, and please, listen to the guy I quoted. I have only one question: can you macro? You can seriously get to plat/diamond by simply massing stalker/marine/roach-dra and a moving the ball. You don't have to micro, you don't have to strategize, you just macro nicely and a-move. While there are other ways to get out of bronze if your still in it there is a 100% certainty that your macro is a long way from being solid. Maybe it's your build, maybe its expansion timings, or maybe its plain old forgetting to make units/supply/production facilities. Either way you cannot have decent macro and be in bronze (or silver, or gold, and probably not even plat). If you really don't think you have the ability to learn macro and couldn't improve in other areas then yes you could be stuck in bronze. If you can learn to macro you can, and will, escape bronze.

No hints, no nothing. We'll play a thousand games and see if you can figure it out. If you can beat me by the time we've played 1000 games, congrats, your out of bronze. If else, I'm going to laugh at how much of a stupid fuck you are. So what we got a deal? Who wants to play 1000 games of some silly nerdgasm UMS if they can actually play and get better on ladder? Since you know, this seems to be an option for other people, maybe you haven't adequately explored the idea that some people actually do that.
