True, but what does units does zerg have in their arsenal against a proper mech transition when the terran is so far ahead that he would need to throw the game away to lose the game. Bogus always had a decent SV count even after losing them to mutas/scourges after plague to EMP queens. EMP'ing queens used like Roro did today is not so easy, gone are the days when they would fly in a single cloud. Also drop. Also spire units.

The problem with mech is it badly lacks mobility and it has trouble covering too many different points of attack at once. On Sniper Ridge, if you split the map then your opponent can attack from literally anywhere. For example, with the bases Bogus had he was forced to defend 3 chokes and it was easy for Sacscri to move his army from one point of attack to another through the relatively open center. This doesn't include the possibility of drops and of course two of the chokes in question are very large. The small choke could have been covered along with the choke to his main/nat with better tank placement, but that's partly a management issue as Bogus was forced to spend his time controlling his army more. In contrast to mech, SK Terran is highly mobile, but obviously it lacks defense (especially against ling/ultra/filer). The SK Terran offense + mass tank defense that Flash popularized in his match against Calm a few years back is more effective for this type of situation since it provides a great deal of mobility with an army that can switch between attack and defense readily and is highly mobile. If Bogus had faults, I'd say: 1.) Not reaching 3-3 bio upgrades was a glaring and costly error that arguably would have won him the game 2.) Better tank placement would have helped repel those attacks more effectively. Still, credit has to go to Sacscri for his persistent defense with several clutch moves (e.g. the scourge helping to limit Bogus's dropship play), effective use of ling/ultra's mobility and some clutch plagues. Once it got to the stage where he was able to start roaming the map with ling/ultra it was only a matter of time before he could catch up with the supply gap and he stayed focused to the end. That was a very well played game no matter what anyone says.

What do you mean by proper mech transition when terran isn't doing well when some of his expo is getting knock down by ultras and lings with dark swarm....

I mean, all his stuff were getting plagued 24/7. If he did, he would forfeit Map Control and the Zerg was on 6th base. Plus Queens was in play. he didnt need map control at the latter points though. he only needed to protect the lower right quadrant since most of his factories were already there anyway (this is if he switched full mech). It was easy to defend his quarter of the map, and about queens he had 1 billion vessels already, couldve just researched EMP. He couldve just turtled for a few minutes and slowly crawl towards the six expo (freshest expo).
