So I've been hearing more and more about this build lately from Artosis and other commentators about a proxy build in PvP that is becoming popular on the Korean server. The build has two proxy gateways that chronoboost out dual stalkers and can deal a lot of damage if micro'd correctly. I first heard about it when Artosis spoke of the build during GSL, and heard it again last night while watching the MLG Winter Arena.
I know that Hero defeated JYP with a build just like this a few days back and was curious if anyone had replays or a solid build order that I could look at.

Interesting build idea. I like it better then trying the usual 4 gate or 3gate robo :p

Thanks! Are there specific reasons you go for the build? When is the build basically dead though when you play? I'd assume you need to deal significant damage before warp gate finishes for your opponent.

this build is SUPER all in, since you need to build 2gates and a core at a proxy, you can only come back if u have dealt hugh amounts of damage. it should hit before the 1st stalker for your opponent, so you can kill the 1st zealot and then when the stalker pops kill him too.
just like normal 2gate proxy, you will die if you don't scout in time, but unlike the normal 2gate proxy this build is meant for higher levels, since you need good control of your stalkers in order to beat his workers / zealot / stalker mix.
anyways i tested this some times and i think a better build would be:
10pylon 10gate CB nexus 12 gas 12 gate (when 1st gate is in 50 / 65) 12 core 2 stalkers pylon.
this lets you have 2 stalkers instead of 1 + 2, which will then clean the 1st zealot and stalker with faster.
oh and you should (atleast on metalopolis) rally your 1st produced worker to the proxy location, it makes good timing

Let's just say hypothetically that If I played as Protoss (I'm terran) and saw someone do this, I would take of my glasses and say ''mother of god.'' in shock.
Cool build that should defo get explored more. It has the potential to be insane good.

probably not but if the guy invested in a forge+cannon that early then he's already lost

Does anyone have a Replay? When to star creating Probes again? It seems to me, that 4 Gate is realy good against it, as 1 Zealot and 2 chronoboosted Stalker can deal rly good against 3 Stalkers.

No... As stated above, your 2 stalkers come into his base before his first stalker is out. That's the point. A 4 gate is going to start with Zealot first which is fantastic for you as your 2 stalkers have supremacy of the map and he can't catch up to your stalker advantage with only 1 gate.

Actually the correct metagame is to skip the zealot i think, in order to make very fast 2nd gas, which makes this build almost impossible to stop. (even though normal 2gate will also win easy)

What happens if, upon scouting this, or nothign at ur base, my opponent quickly builds a forge and throws down a cannon? Will it finish in time/ will I be screwed?

So dont show the First Stalker before the Second? I tried this one time and my Opponent build canons, i Thought i would be ahead, but he had so many Probes, that he killed me with Chargelots Archons after a while...

I went 3stalker rush scouting after my core - meaning i didn´t see it until the first stalker was at my base - and I held it off without trouble. Did he do something terrebly wrong or is this not supposed to work vs normal 2gate stalker rush?

Sounds interesting, very micro dependant but that's good. I will try it as soon as I can.

seems like a 3 stalker rush could be hard to deal with if performed correctly unless you end up with 2 stalkers before his 2nd and third come out. The scouting you do with a 3 stalker rush is specifically to deny the proxy pylon of a 4gate but seems like it would be good for denying the proxy gates as well. also if you don't outright crush him early you're probably going to lose those 2gates and core and pylon so it seems risky vs someone who manages to hold. BUT like i said if you get 2 stalkers out while the 3 stalker rush is still at 1 you could do some decent damage i suppose
