People should be happy for the new recruit because it means this player is getting paid good money and will have every opportunity to play in tournaments worldwide. Everyone agrees players need to be treated better. Guess what? EG treats their players great. They support them as much as any team, if not more.
EG has yet to develop a single player.... I don't see whats wrong with his comment. If anything ever since players joined EG they seemed to get relatively worst, hence why I don't support EG as a team either.
Right so Huk maintaining GSL, IdrA getting invited to Code S, and DeMuslim getting invited to Code A is getting worse an not better? Ummm I think you're rather wrong there man seeing as how IdrA was a Code S level player before leaving Korea an now going back still is means he's about the same an DeMuslim not even being GSL worthy before going to EG now is must say something about their ability to develope and maintain players :l
Huk was legitimately via merit in S when he switched to EG. Is he even in Code A now?
IdrA was legitimately via merit in Code S now is given a gift spot I think most of us know he won't hold S for even one season.
PuMa still languishing in Code B
Way I see EG players are getting worse.
PuMa has not tried to qualify since joining EG...he is not "languishing", he is winning foreign tournaments...
PuMa did try to qualify almost every GSL seasons, you can check liquidpedia for that.
I think he's only tried it once (November) since he joined EG? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, to be fair, he was traveling a whole lot before the November qualifier (Guangzhou [DH] to Philadelphia [IPL] to Arizona to Orlando [MLG] back to Korea) and flew back to Korea only a few days before the preliminaries. I know that fatigue and stress were definitely getting to him. It was also when he just moved into the SlayerS house and was getting himself settled in there.
People need to cut it out with the BS excuse of traveling. It is not a big deal and anyone who travels will tell you that.
You obviously don't know what your talking about, players who attend major LAN's back to back almost always mention how they are fatigued or jet lagged. Not to mention you spend many days traveling getting no practice in. That is why some players do not play in everything, they prefer to be more prepared.
Traveling in general is very tiring, doing it a multiple times in a month or 2 is rough. I've only been to a single MLG and I can tell you I had issues from being tired. Not to mention that 2 days prior to the event I didn't get to play at all.
While I agree that traveling can be exhausting, let's be realistic here. Professional tennis players don't blame losses on jet lag or being tired, and they play grueling 2-3 hour long tennis matches. If they want to avoid "jet lag" they can arrive a few days earlier and reduce jet lag. Saying people are exhausted from travel when all they have to do is sit down at a computer for a couple of hours, and yet professional sports players don't say anything about jet lag is absurd. If SC2 is to become an "e-sport" we need to stop babying and protecting players for something that isn't as bad as other sports have it.
Professional athletes in real sports are big enough to call the shots. Put yourself in these shoes: You just started making it big as a progamer, signed by EG who offer you not only 2 great locations to stay, and probably pays you pretty decent as well. You could try and reason with them and try to get a better flight date, but at the end of the day you take what you're given, end of story.

lol actually travelling really sucks and hurts peoples performance a lot. get a clue pls
Actually traveling isn't that big of a deal, I traveled for really long distances and there's not rly a huge diffrence when I do stuff that needs focusing. Jetlag potentially fucks up your day-rythm, nothing more, nothing less. Get a clue pls

lol. "get a clue pls" is so unnecessary. different people are different.. weird concept I imagine for some one who uses "pls." I'm sure you'd be in perfect form playing hours upon hours of meaningful games when you are on a time zone 9 hours off of yours the day after you land. I guess you are just a perfect being, one of perfect mind, body, soul

Yes but who is forcing them to travel? Def. not us.
did u even read the conversion or are u trolling? the point isnt people forcicng them travel, the point is that travelling is tiring physically and mentality.
