because when i did this and when to my account details it says, “You will be billed when your current term ends on February 22, 2012.” If you don't cancell it during the free period they will charge you for the next period. You should be able to cancel and have your membership until the current term ends if you don't want to continue to pay.
So how do i figure out how much i owe because i remember doing this when they first had and am not sure whether or not if i had a free silver this whole time.

You shouldn't owe anything, you pay in advance right? If you log onto MLG's site and it's says you have a subscription to a certain date it's already payed+free period to that date I believe.

Are you guys talking about people who used the free membership promo getting charged? How? I certainly didn't give them any billing details.

Also, I don't see how they can bill you if you didn't give any payment information.

If you look how much it actualy costs for a years membership gold is such a crazy amazing deal. I don't know why people don't just buy it.

I see alot of people talking about being billed after what i said.
I was rebilled because i PAID FOR SILVER MEMBERSHIP. You dont get billed for doing this, it never asks you for details of that kind.

Of course not. Maybe I understood the poster wrong whom I was responding to but I was under the impression he'd payed previously and then added a free month. In that case they would have his payment details.
I just wanted to clarify that if you ever payed for the silver membership you will be charged when the period is up continually. This is not really clear for a lot of people when they pay and is a seperate issue to the free month.

how long does it usually take for MLG to send an account activation email? it's been over an hour and I don't see any "resend" options...
|
Worked for me. Thanks a lot! :D

What the fuck!? It said I didn't win, but I got this virtual potato or whatever instead. Well whoopiedoo...
Do I have to do this several times until I win a silver membership or what?
Edit: I'm a retard.

@ WhiteraCares
No, wait a few minutes for an email about MLG. That will have a code you can use.
|
Done, I will give a try this weekend. If I find it worth the 7.50 € it costs, I will support MLG buying silver pass from there in after. As some guy said before "support what you love"

Awesome bump, just grabbed a free silver pass. Thanks a lot!
|
Thanks for the bump, didn't know this still worked. Got my membership!
|
I can confirm that you can use the same e-mail successively and make it work, since I used it during Raleigh, somehow, it still worked during Orlando (could see all the way up to Ultra), and now, using the same e-mail, I was able to get a new code and redeem it for Silver.
