This is retarded but it's better than initial stages. They tried to make the age limit 19 which would have been really troubling. Also these bitches do not care about the children. That's their excuse, they always use this excuse to leech money off the gov (MY FUCKING TAX) for their benefit. This law will accomplish nothing but show the world how much of a farce korean laws can be (sorry china, this event has spurred people to create a similar law) and accomplish nothing. 여성부를 죽입시다

We will see the birth of some amazing Pokemon, Street fighter, halo 3, and cod korean players. Hey, man, don't diss Pokemon. Competitive Pokemon battling is actually pretty damn metagamey and filled with layers upon layers of mindgames; it makes Inception look as deep as a puddle.

Seems like that is still undecided? If it doesn't have to be shut down what is the point of the measure? I mean, of course even passing it is dumb sicne people can play on other servers, on LAN, etc. "Clarification: this does NOT affect Battle.net 2.0 (for WoW and SC2) if the user is 16 years or older." SC2 is tied to SSNs, so Blizzard does not have to shut down the server, only block out everyone under 16. B.net 1.0 however does not have such information on users, so a blanket shut down has to be used.

Say they just aced all their classes, there's no school the next day, and the parents want to allow him extra internet/game time. Obviously parents should restrict their own kids' gaming time, and ultimately they should be the ones that have the power to allow or disallow their kid to play a game, irrelevant of the time. The general concept of the law is a good idea. In general, I'd say it's good parenting advice, but the government goes way too far to impose it as an overreaching law that infringes on pretty much everyone's rights within Korea. We're lucky in America to have the constitution so that if a law like this somehow gets passed we can appeal its existence if it infringes our basic civil liberties, such as playing games when we want to play them. its only a matter of time til that gets "fixed" though, at least with the general direction that the US has taken these last few years, "patriot act" anyone?
