hmm, I got a message once when I double posted once. I have never been told "stop spamming" or w/e the message is if you get X amt of posts/hr or whatever it is.

Nah, flood control. When you post too many times in a short period of time. It's different than "Double post message detected"

If you want to post an introduction best post it in your TL blog. > You ninja'd me while i logged on. If TL mods/admins/members were teachers, what subject would they teach (other than Starcraft/LoL) I teach English Language and Literature. I've taught undergrad, but currently teach Junior High / Middle School. And how is that going for you?

I was a poker coach for 2 years for beginning players. If I had to be a school teacher, I would be a history teacher and not use any stupid book. Instead I'd turn each class into a story time and just tell a story for each person/event in history that would be required for the government standardized tests or w/e is required.

I'd teach maths I think, like algebra and calculus. Or perhaps philosophy.
Besides me there's like 3 on staff who's over 30, I don't know if any of them are mods though.

Im 95-100. Record is 120. :D when i started actually practicing like a month or two ago i was 75. ^__^
I love typeracer tho! the passages are from movies or books or songs. Sometimes i will be typing half way through something and realize i know what it is from. I dunno, i feel like im typing something that people would actually say and i like that better. Helps with remembering all those dumb symbols no one uses sometimes like & :. Hate when they are there, but always get better at hitting it. I dunno, i feel like to be a good fast typist you have or should to be able to type anything you see, regardless.
my ultimate goal is 120 average, which i see a couple of you are there already or higher! I couldnt imagine typing at 150. I would have to be not thinking at all and just moving.

Hey, I wanted to post this in some kind of TL feedback thread (which I thought existed) but I didn't find it. So feel free to move/delete.
I wondered how the stream featuring policy looks like recently. There are a few streams/streamers that 100% deserve to be featured (and I'm not talking about Master League scrubs who stream a lot and put a lot of effort into their schedule and stuff, no, I'm talking top of the line, full time sponsored pro gamers, obviously Grandmaster, with achievements/tournament wins/stays in Korea), while some other streams that are featured right now seem like relics from beta/early release to me that don't really deserve the spot up there anymore (not going to call out anyone here).
Examples for unfeatured streams that definitely deserve the star:
- the guys in TypeII, TypeDBS and TypeReaL. - Na'ViSlavik aka Happyzerg
and then maybe imbalanced.tv, they put in a lot of time and effort (maybe not the highest quality content but sick quantity and quite entertaining stuff) and I think they deserve to be up there with GLHF, RQTV and ESVTV (of which only the latter is really active right now).
Just some thoughts, I'd appreciate a reply. I see that you can't be too lax about who you feature but I'm serious when I say that there are some people in the drop down list that need more attention.
Peace.

We are aware that there are some inconsistencies there. Streams and stream policy are currently being reevaluated.

I have a couple of questions for all the nice staff members here ^^
Just wondering what is your opinion on spammers such as Torte de Lini on general . Do they benefit TL.net with all the traffic and the posts they make, or are they more of a nuisance?
And as for the second one, how many users do you think this site can safely support, before it starts to hurt the site, and how many registered users are there currently? Do you think TL.net could support ten times as much traffic and users?
How did Hot Bid get the position of an administrator?
Is TL.net an American site or an European, heard both answers from different people?
And for the last , when will we have a public poll about changing the user icons from bw to SC2 :p
