Ganzi tried to bust the front where SuperNova was weak due to being spread thin, he needed to win decisively so he could continue to plough through any reinforcements, SuperNova pulled his big marine clump up the top of the map back super fast though. There was never an option for Gnazi to be slow with that push. Yeah, I agree that Ganzi didn't have that won, but he could've made a better fist of it. He won the first part of the battle in the engagement near the PF area by killing Supernova's tanks. His mistake was not sieging up.

the vast majority of people who didn't either couldn't macro, had no decision making, or didn't play terran and want to see a mirror that actually takes a fair amount of skill

it doesnt matter. he would've won in a base trade with a much much larger army if he engaged properly. he lost 20+ marines in 3-4 seconds while attacking the PF.

Mech is not dying. The good players are still using it. And winning Exactly. Tired of people crying just because every game isn't a hellionfest

Tastosis seems to have forgotten the "metagame" shift in TvT - takes time to re-acclimatise.

Even if he sieged he was dead, just might have been able to kill the 5th.
SuperNova just doesn't attack into him, waits for a few tanks, and pushes him back slower in that scenario. SuperNova had plenty of time on his side with multiple mining bases operational, Ganzi was down to a mined out main, his nat, and a third that was about to go down.

Ganzi wouldn't have won a base trade.

It's gonna be very rare now. I'm not taking a single bad game, about every tvt game was kinda random and bad. Plus it was really painful to play. Just watch MLG Anaheim replays and you will see. What's the strategy in "hellion opening into huge hellion timing attack into mech play"?

They were already beginning too before the patch.. Example Polt keeping 1-2 marauders at each of his bases to shut down hellions;.

No. Skilled players are using it on certain maps and it represents 10% of the Korean TvT scene.
No.

It was. In TvT, even more than in TvZ.
We had countless games where it went 'hellion drop gets countered, hellion drop gets countered, hellion drop gets countered, HELLION DROP SUCCEEDS GG'
That's BS, plain and simple.
