+ Show Spoiler +strawberry ice cream always letting me down. Every fourth ranked player will now be cursed. .
Also MLG will be weighted more heavily next PR if there is a next one. Some of you have made great points. Live competitions against high caliber players should count right below the GSL and team league.

great read, good job

excellent stuff, really enjoyed reading it, thanks!

HongUn! <3
Thanks for writeup nice ranking

Enjoyed the power ranking, and agreed with it until I got to Ryung. Also, I don't think MKP should be near the top of the list - he has been too erratic - but I can't understand him not making the top 10 at all.

great great read!! Thanks op! :D Want moar!

i love this power rank mix for sc2 you should defnially keep it up!

Nice, a power ranking is hard to do since everything seems so volatile right now but I think OP did a great job.

Great article, I have always enjoyed reading the BW PR since it is a beautiful summery of a players form in the last month or so, you've done just as good, I look forward to reading more SC2 Power Rankings especially when they are well written like this
Hope you continue this even though it is a lot of work I'm sure everyone appreciates it even if they are not to vocal about it.

MVP is SO godly at TvT... to quote oGs.Ensare during group nom, "I studied his TvT last season many times and came to the conclusion, it is unbeatable."

Awesome writeup, love the power rank!

Well written as usual. Nope. bio viable for MKP AND Polt.

I completely disagree with Marineking not being in the top ten, he just won the AOL beating DRG, whom he had completely figured out. He has an impressive number of silver metals... i consider his nock down to be a fluke as he is a very formable opponate, relatively consistant top tier player. As far as this power rank is concerned i interprate this as follows if all of a sudden boom we close all tournments and start one with all the best whos gonna be at the top, if u asked the players i think alot of them would be worried about facing MKP.

Rofl, the perception of Clide as a salaryman is perfect. Although that might change now after a full year of competiting in every GSL open and Code S tournament, Clide has finally made top 8!

Strongly disagree with not including at least one Protoss, like TSL_JYP, especially after you made room for a cheesy Terran like Polt (sure he wins, but he doesn't seem to care about macro, he is like TheBest 2.0), a relatively unproven player like Ganzi (who barely beat MKP and team-killed Taeja via cheese), and even a relatively boring player like TOP (I like the guy but his micro is sloppy and he relies mostly on out-macroing his opponents).
What I liked about the BW PowerRank is it took into account players that were revolutionizing their race and how they won their games, not just their win/loss record. The games I've seen from TSL_JYP, even where he has lost, have been *sublime*. His micro is crisp as hell, he innovates the hell out of Protoss, opening doors and timings we've never seen, and his multitasking is top-tier. I always look forward to a match with JYP at the controls. Protoss like JYP are why the race still has a future. Think about this more when doing your next PowerRank.
Anyway, I enjoyed the writeup and look forward to the next one. Please don't take my criticism personally, I hope this becomes a regular feature.

MVP gets way too much credit. He's arguably number 1, but he's much more mortal than made out to be. Especially when describing his run through champions, when most of the champions ironically can't make this power rank. If there were more tosses in Code S, it might be Bomber coming out ahead with his godlike TvP.
I don't see why Nestea isn't #1 other than by virtue of the fact he lost to MVP, when he's arguably even more monstrous in his other match-ups.

How can you be number 1 when both people have 3 gsl titles and the head to head record is 1-8? If anything mvp doesnt get enough credit, sick of listening to tastosis ranting about nestea as if he's a God. Can't wait for mvp to extend his record vs nestea to 11-1 so people like you can shut up.
