No, you. times infinity and i win. why would you even respond that to what i said? from which part can you infer about my knowledge of sc2? educate me, please. because i don't see how stating some facts about a match implies i don't know about the game, preferably on PM if you will.

1. No marauders vs Ultras, even though he had the tech labs and barracks from making so many ghosts. Super passive game from Puma. 2. No ghosts vs Infestor/Brood lord. 3. Incomplete wall off into all marines being hit by two banelings. 4. Puma never applied early pressure, no cheese, no good ol bunkering, no 11/11. Played straight up macro games everytime with Idra. Why? Idra showed us some of his best play yet, not sure if this is because he's comfortable vs his teammate or he's learning to suppress his rage - compared to Dreamhack Idra vs Hero it felt his multitask was on another level alltogether.

It's probably because in practice Idra held it off pretty easily each time or practiced against it a bunch. They are afterall, teammates and lived together for a bit. They probably know each other tendencies inside and out.

I think they played over 20 games against each other in one day when Puma was in the US. I would bet Puma felt Idra would have sniffed out any fast aggression and he didn't want to risk it. Against team mates, players are going to play differently due to the amount of experiences they have against each other.

from what eco? ghosts don't grow on trees ya know... Yes i agree that you should counter broods with ghosts, but you need a few of them for that to work (meaning you need at least 1 per brood, usually you need 2 per, meaning you either start when you scout his greater spire morphing or you have the eco to build 5 ghosts at the same time).

This man is correct ^^. Puma simply didn't have the economy, there was something like a 10 minute stretch where puma was only on <30 scvs and only 1 real mining base

Sure they are pretty decent and better than marines, but... If idra tech switches and puma has to many mauruders he is kidna fucked. Massing ghosts late game is much much better. 2) He didn ot have the economy to get ghosts. 3) He made one mistake in the shakuras game with the battle micro. terran is kinda unforgiving. 4) There is a difference between "solid pressure", like hellion harass, banshee, drops before muta play, and light tank marine pressure and "all in pressure", like 11/11 and 2 base tank/marine pushes. Idra is pretty good at defending allin pressures (though he has some probs vs bunker rushes on shakura). Using only "solid pressure" requires that you have really good mechanics, which only korean top terrans have (including puma). Puma could definitely still win, however he just made some mistakes/idra played well and lost. But his strategy wasn't the problem.
