HongUn would have more than likely have made it he got out of the group. He's been the most consistent protoss in the GSL after MC. He's the only surviving protoss to ever make a GSL semifinal; Inca, San, MC,and anypro are all in Code B now. Genius has also been pretty good and could have flirted with the top ten if he had gotten out of his group, but then he had to go get 0-2'ed in one of the weaker pools. He doesn't have the pedigree that Polt/TOP have (a semifinals and final each in the past four months) that he can have a bad tournament to stick around.

fuck, that ZvP thrown in there ruins our chances of a pure TvT Ro8 onwards...
realistically though I agree with the predictions put forward.

I've been realizing that the current mass of terrans has made me (and likely others) into a terran anti-fan. I cheer for anyone who isn't terran, or for the weaker terran of each matchup. Again thinking realistically though, I would not be surprised to see a 24+ terran ro32 next season...

Awesome write-up (as usual). I don't think Killer can carry the ultraheavyweightend Protoss-Flag, but atleast he ensured together with HuK that there will be Toss in the next season. I don't care how it happens, but I have to see more protoss games if I'm going to buy another season pass for the next GSL. Perhaps Affirmative Action for protoss to defend against racialism?
