and make sure to point out to anyone posting in the strat forum a strategy that his strategy will never work because X counters it, or alternatively that it will never work vs good players and therefore is invalid. oh god, this is the exact reason i stopped reading/posting in the strat forum. how about putting together a nice eye candy jpg of all the little tips and hints of how to use TL and make it like the first thing new registers see after filling out their account info. something i wish i had at least when i joined .

A lot of people just spam like all hell in live report threads but don't really bring much to the table (/cough me) But for the most part you should listen to everyone. There are a percent that aren't posters you want to emulate but the rest of us are pretty good people.

Im a LR spammer as well and the only reason my post count is big is cuz of that Though My initial love with posting has dwindled (read not 30 a day because I am bored at work) I try to contribute with any posts i do make in important forums such as strategy. Also: remember people have report buttons, you dont because you are new. If something someone posts really upsets you hit the little # in the upsetting post. Copy the url and pm it to an admin and they will take care of it. Refresh first though because they might already be warn/banned when you go to make a pm.

-Follow the MOD warnings on top of certain threads e.g. When they say each post must contain a picture in the SFW Random Pic thread, they mean it. -If you aren't Diamond don't post for help in the Strategy section. If you aren't high Diamond or low Master don't post in there either to give advice. They say you can, but fuck it just don't you get banned every time. -We all know 70% of the community never watches replays/VODs, but don't actually say you can't and just get info from other posts and try to sum up a summary of what they say. Never say you are at work/can't watch it. -Don't quote someone and just say nothing, or this, or +1. Just say I agree and repeat his thesis for a free post. -If you want free posts go to LR threads and type OWNED or WOW WTF everytime a battle ends. -No one actually watches your replay packs if you aren't at least Grandmaster, they just comment and say you're good for a post. I feel like making a blog on getting around TL now.

-Post with good grammar and English. -Don't flame/argue for the sake of arguing. *cough* general forum *cough* -Don't player bash or caster bash. -If you bullshit you'll probably be called out on it. -10 commandments -Don't troll. -Don't make shit threads. -Don't balance whine. -If someone annoys you (signs posts w/ name, has a lot of !!!!111??/????, or has reading comprehension difficulties) just ignore them. Learned some of these the hard way T_T

-Do not use adblock. =) -Don't be negative if possible (even when giving criticism). -Think twice before you post. Then read it twice and think twice again. -Keep open liquibets 0 / 0, it's important -When making thread, not only you should use search function but also think if it should be a blog. -There is teamliquidpro.com

Ryndika reminded me of a really stupid question I asked once. The liquibet number on the left is bw. The liquibet number on the right is sc2. (For a very long time I thought 3/12 was 3 out of a total of 12. God I was a nub.) On a serious note though: Try not to spam in LRs. What is considered an okay post is a lot lower than the rest of the forum but you should still try.

a) Open your mind. If you consider another TLer's point of view and try to discover why they think how they do, you might find answers for your own questions, as well as become a reasonable poster who has bases when you argue. b) Get to the bottom. Read the whole thread before posting something! That way you can shape up your opinion bit by bit, post by post and then reduce it into a couple of golden paragraphs.

If you don't quote anyone, most people will assume you are responding to the OP. You don't need to quote the whole thing, and this gets especially annoying when it's rather long. If you really need to make reference that you're addressing the OP, then just add @OP, or "Addressing the OP" at the top of your post, and if you really need everyone to see you're talking to the OP, at least have the decency to put it in spoilers. :p This always annoyed me, so I might as well add it to the advice thread.
