I can't believe this still is needed but religious and gun control side discussions will be met with harsh penalties from page 52 and onwards.

A bit more difficult to aquire btaining a license There are two ways of obtaining an ownership license in Norway. The most common is through the process of obtaining a hunting license, the other is through a sports shooting license. [edit] For hunting To obtain a hunting license, the applicant must complete a 30 hour, 9 session course and pass a written multiple choice exam. The course includes firearm theory, firearm training, wildlife theory, and environmental protection training. Once the exam is passed, the applicant may enroll in the hunter registry and receive a hunting license. The membership must be renewed each year, through license payment. The hunting license is brought to the police station, where the applicant fills out an application for obtaining the proper firearm for his or her hunt. After evaluation, part of the application is sent back to the applicant if it was approved. Upon approval, the applicant can take the returned form to the store and purchase the firearm listed in the application.

I would like to know from someone with more knowledge of Norway if there is a potential for "false-flag" style attacks to push laws/restrictions by influencing the public's emotional state. False-flag is obviously an option here... I think the Facebook looks really suspecious aswell. However... Having a norweigian targetting norweigian political buildings and killing young citizens cannot be in the interest of anyone or anything. The only thing I can see develop from this is Norway strengthening around their democracy even more. Especially with the primeminister handling it the way he is. Everything I've seen in the danish media has been sooo strong and good from his part.

Within hours of requesting regular donors to come give blood they released a new statement thanking the public and saying they had now reached capacity. At least people are standing tall, together, and helping out where they can. Kudos to all my fellow Norwegians! Yeah it's nice that even when something totally shit happens, it shows all the people that are good that would normally go unnoticed.

Just my feeling though, we'll find out eventually.

So so if he is a-social and fucking sick in the head that would explain why, and that would also explain why he has no friends on facebook or he didn't care about and only did a facebook account with his full name because it would be easy to find him. Think about it, all the pictures of him are "nice" pictures no casual pictures at all... almost like he wanted media to only have nice pictures of him. What a sick fuck.

In 2009 he started his own "company" named Breivik Geofarm, described as: "Kjøp, salg og forvaltning av aksjer, prosjektutvikling, herunder erverv og utvikling av faste eiendommer, og deltagelse i andre selskaper og virksomheter, samt hva dermed står i forbindelse."

And tbh if you grab a random 32-year old Norwegian male there is a fairly high probability that he plays games. Not really notable that a person play WoW. I give this theory an E for effort. This pretty much sums up how Norway and Norwegians deal with these kinds of things compared to big broadcasting networks that draw nourishment from this kind of tragedy. Most news and broadcasting channels here don't even speculate, and they aren't reporting unverifiable things as of yet. What's being repeated, instead, is simply this: That a bomb has been detonated in a government building, and a related shooting has occurred at a political youth camp on an island. The perpetrator, believed to be behind both incidents, was arrested on the island by police and brought in for questioning. That's it. That's all we have. We don't have twenty "experts" on TV demanding to know how this man slipped through the cracks and was able to complete this act of terrorism. We don't have a further thirty experts criticising foreign policy, or reports of acts of violence committed to ethnic groups all over the country in retaliation. There's very little sensationalism, and very little speculation and guesswork as to who, or why, or how long it's been planned, or who the perpetrator might be connected to. For instance, an Islamic extremist group has already claimed responsibility, yet most of the Norwegians newspapers either haven't reported this deigning it unnecessary until verified, or it's a relatively small notice amidst other headlines dealing with the actual events. Hell, the prime minister was asked his thoughts on the alleged claim of responsibility during a press conference, where he simply said that such groups often claim responsibility for things even when they aren't, in order to boost their own appearance and abilities. Straight and to the point. If it turns out that a link to religious extremists exists, then it will be verified and reported as such. Until then... well, according to the mod warning atop this thread, people here really couldn't keep their opinions on religion and gun control to themselves for ONE DAY? They couldn't even wait until some facts were known about the man or men responsible? The perpetrator is a 32 year old ethnic Norwegian, as it turns out, and the police have no comment on whether he was known to the police, or if he has any ties to any kind of organization. We're waiting for the facts before we start the debates. Would that people here could do the same as the people actually afflicted by this event, and simply offer us their fucking condolences instead. While I'm proud that Norway is so far able to handle this situation in a rational manner, I'm even more proud that the hospitals now have to start declining offers for blood or other types of aid because. That is pretty god damned kick-ass.
