So after a couple of week watching streams and playing the occasional ladder game to try builds and tactics, i decided i wanted to have a shot at try to become a professional starcraft player. I knew it wouldn't be a quick thing and proceeded to put a lot of time into improving and climbing the ladder. As time passed i became a spectator as well. When not playing ladder i would watch NASL or IPL or even GSL.
A month passed and i had climbed from Bronze to Platinum. Another Month Passed and i went from Platinum to diamond. Yet now i sit stuck at the top of diamond. With about 800 games played in season 2 i had seen myself climb to the top of each league and progress, Seeing myself going from a mouse player to a fully 150 APM Keyboard user. This excited me, gave me feeling of what was to come and spurred my competitive side on.
After a couple of weeks at top diamond i found myself lacking the skills to move onto the next level. Soon the UK Community that had eluded me, (while immersed in the American and Korean Scene) would help me in finding me people to play with and practice partners of the same skill.
But now a month on after being top diamond i still sit there eagerly awaiting my chance to progress even more.. Either through coaching or pure game practice i have the drive and determination to become one of the top players in the UK, hopefully surpassing that and becoming and professional in the long run.
In 2 weeks time i attend my first Lan...
But when can i see that i dont have the stuff to progress to the next level. Dreams are Dreams after all!
