A good supporting proof that the game is constantly evolving is the fact that the former walling guides mentioned ling blocking properties only as a cute bonus to certain walls. Walling meant you're playing TvP.
Nowadays, if you wanna be cool, you gotta play TvZ by doing cute builds like Mech and 2port Wraith.
Here are ling-tight walls on Python and Heartbreak Ridge. Where possible, I included the 2 variations possible: - walling with factory - walling with only supplies and barracks
Generally, I use the wall with factory because that way I don't have to delay my factory to complete the wall with the second supply depot.
For those that prefer walling with only supplies and barracks, note that some spawning points can't be blocked that way and are only wallable by using a factory.
Python:
- 2 o'clock: (I haven't seen anyone else use this)
only wallable with factory:
- 6 o'clock:
with factory:
without factory:
- 8 o'clock:
only wallable with factory:
- 12 o'clock:
with Factory:
without Factory:
Heartbreak Ridge:
- 3 o'clock:
Main Base only wallable with factory:
Natural with factory (originally posted in my blog, must see!! )
without factory:
- 9 o'clock:
Main Base only wallable with factory:
Natural with factory:
without factory:
These can be included to Shake's walling thread, but for now, they could use some exposure I think.
edit removed spoilers for less clicking.

Would be nicer if you posted the actual pics instead of thumbnails...

Chill, I don't see the need to close this, once the thread ceases to cause interest, it will die out on its own.
Python is the LT of our days and knowing you can wall in against zerg on any location is a huge thing for terrans imo.

Don't post thumbnails and post in spoilers please ^_^
And thanks for the effort.

in python, there are superior ling proof walls (imo) for 3/9 o clock.
3 supplies + 1 rax in front of natural is ling proof.
+ Show Spoiler +

these give you the option of a super fast command center for a double gas wraith build or something of the sort.
or it is handy in keep out fast lurker and ling bs.
or just hiding your cheese (though normal walls would be easier).

I'm surprised no one used this for 3 o clock. It's marine/ling proof:
Yay or nay?

One of the nice things about the OP is that all the walls follow normal build orders...the 3 depots in your pics require you to deviate tremendously because of scv travel distance and extra depot(s).
Very cool post....I think those walls are as helpful, if not more so, in TvP as TvZ.

I tested the 2 o'clock wall and both the marines and vultures come out on the wrong side of the wall. It was kind of the opposite of a ling-proof wall.
