OlimoLeague is a weekly Korean online tournament for StarCraft II players run by Olimoley . Hosted every Saturday night, OlimoLeague is a single elimination, best of 1 format until the round of 16. The round of 16 is best of 3 format with the finals being a best of 5. Players of any region can participate in the tournament, but the default server is KR server.
In addition to the weekly tournaments, a $500 monthly final will be hosted at the end of each month with the top weekly contestants. Participants are determined by how many points they've accumulated from the weekly tournaments.
The more contributions OlimoLeague receives, the bigger the prize pool will get! The fans decide the prize pool!
As OlimoLeague continues to grow, the goal is to expand into more tournaments for the Korean scene. If you like what you see, consider tipping through Patreon so I can continue making tournaments. In addition to your contribution, you also receive awesome benefits such as mentions during the stream, or even bigger rewards like getting a coaching session from CranK or a replay casted by TotalBiscuit (a huge thanks to both of them for offering their time)!

Well the only major Korean Protoss not on a KeSPA right now team is Patience, right? And the only KeSPA teams whose players play in Olimoleague regularly are Samsung and Afreeca. So there's only so many Protoss players you can get.

That's something we may do in the future
there wasn't extra money involved but there is precedent for tournaments aimed at getting more participation from a single race. Take did "stim to the win" and this is a lot like BTTV's "starship troopers" event :D
Mhm, looking at the Brackets, GuMiho vs Soulkey could deside the winner already, feel like who ever comes out of that match will have a really good shot at winning.
wow that game by Reality was so well-played from start to finish. He did all the small things right. Getting so much stuff done with the reaper (2 drone kills, denying creep tumors), even sniping a creep tumor with 2 hellions, then the targeting of the mines on the larva, perfect hellion micro while the marine-drop keeps the queens busy.
