Today, mYinsanity is pleased to announce another addition to our ranks: Swedish Protoss player Emily “QueenE” Krumlinde. QueenE will be joining the mYinsanity B team, and seek to continue improving. Reaching mid-masters in only a year of playing Starcraft II, she has already shown vast improvement over a relatively short period, and continues to do so. QueenE regularly streams her practice, so we definitely recommend checking out her stream (listed below)! mYinsanity wishes all the best to QueenE, and we look forward to a successful partnership!

The name is Emily “QueenE” Krumlinde and I am a 22 year old Swedish Protoss player.
It’s an honor to join mYinsanity and I hope that with their support I can improve enough to challenge the elite. I’m looking forward to wearing the team colors and I would like to thank them for giving me the opportunity to pursue my dreams.

Well if you check the posts this team has made on team liquid before it's about players joining their team, no matter who they are, so I don't get where you got the "only because she is a woman"-thing from.

No name forum poster uses someones anouncement thread to propogate their sexism only becuase they are jelly.

We like to promote our players. When someone reputable like StarDust joins, we post about it, but just the same when someone less popular joins, we also like to post it. Sorry if you don't like it.

Well i wouldnt call mYinsanity a noname team, we got some known players like Tarson and StarDust aswell as potenitally rising stars (Evaner, DaNa, ABomB...)
Also we said shes going to join the B-Team, we have alot of players, which we think have the potential to become good.
Posting things on Teamliquid is to keep the community informed, since QueenE has about 500 followers, i think atleast one is interested in her joining a team.

Also, I fail to understand how being open and proud of recruiting female players is automatically and exclusively gender profiteering. We are a community that is trying to expand its female player and fan base. I think the way to do that is to show that we love having qualified and talented female players representing teams. Nothing wrong with showing the world that eSports is a great place for all kinds of people.

i have to admit im a bit jelly. i played her once on ladder and beat her quite convincingly. Since then i like to tune in to her stream now and then because she mentioned it ingame.
but yeah. she has decent stream numbers, she commentates a bit, its fun to watch!
so thats more than i can say for me, i dont think its undeserved and its just B-team. Its a chance, and i think its a good thing to give it to motivated people with potential.
