Welcome to the Korean StarCraft II League Daily! The KSL is sponsored by own3d.tv and can be viewed as an European event series that features the Korean Pro-Teams. The KSL is a series of daily matches between top Korean players from the teams Prime, NSHoSeo, MVP, ZeNEX, StarTale, Incredible Miracle, FXOpen and Fnatic.
Prime placed fourth in the round robin stages with wins over StarTale, Fnatic, MVP, and NSHoseo. They dropped series to FXOpen, IM, and Zenex during the regular season, but avenged the first two losses during the playoffs and are looking to add a third to that when taking on ZeNEX today.
ZeNEX surprised a lot of people with a very strong showing that saw them place second in the groups, only dropping series to StarTale and Fnatic. This is their first match of the playoffs and they'll be hoping to pick up where they left off in the KSL after their GSTL disappointment this week.
The winner will move on to take on the groups first place finisher StarTale in the finals.
Best performers:
During the group stages both teams had heavy contributions from a single player, with MaruPrime and Extreme leading the way for their sides scoring 13 kills over the course of the season. Treme delivered a double 4 kill streak while Maru (in perhaps his real breakout before the GSL) netted an all kill of StarTale.
Prime tended to stick with the ever reliable Creator in the closing stages of series who pulled in a solid 8 kills, while mixing and matching between the rest of their players, none of whom pulled in more than 5 kills across the season.
During the playoffs BboongBboong has turned in 5 kills over 2 matches, while Maru and Creator have continued to contribute well with Creator closing out both series for the team.
ZeNEX as you might expect (if you've been watching the GSTL) relied heavily on their zerg backbone with Pet proving to be a reliable performer and garnering 7 kills for himself, whilst Life notched 6. Surprisingly they had some decent support from their often overlooked Terran line who managed to regularly post up enough wins to help the team close out a win.
Line ups:
Expect Prime to field their absolute A team roster, with a brutal combination of BboongBboong, Marineking, Ghostking, Maru, Creator, and whichever player they feel can get a snipe if necessary. Creator will likely to take the ace role again, freeing up Marineking to play without pressure earlier on in the series.
Likewise ZeNEX will probably do the same, with Extreme, Life, Pet, Avenge, and Harrier all very likely to play, Line doesn't really seem to show up in these events much but there's a chance he may today given that winning would be great for ZeNEX, and he's a more solid pick than some of their weaker Terrans.

No mention of extreme? He got 13 kills and pretty much took out hoseo and IM by himself.
