Thanks to ThatGeek for the arts!
Once again, its time for a CSL:EU season! After listening to what you all had to say at the end of our last season, we're expecting this season to be bigger and better than ever before!
This season, registration is open to a large number of European nations! Any college or university within the continent can register a team to compete in what is shaping up to be out biggest season ever, and with Tt.eSports providing some amazing prizes, this is something you don't want to miss!
Registration for CSL:EU Email us eu@cstarleague.com or contact us via Twitter for more information or if you have any issues.
To register a team or to join an existing team, details are on this page! http://eu.cstarleague.com/news/1/hsl-101
Every player on a team must have a valid academic email registered to their account, and must complete our verification process to be eligable to play in the CSL:EU. Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis, such as attending an affiliated school, or attend a near by school that cannot field a team.
If you are a College/University student but do NOT have a valid academic email address for whatever reason, contact us via email and we'll see what we can do for you!
The deadline for registration is Wednesday 4th April at 23:59! After this, no new teams can be registered. Players are able to join teams right up until playoffs.

The CSL:EU is ran by former UKUTL admin Joseph "Joeeigel" Berkley. The CSL:EU has 21 British schools competing for over €800 worth of prizes in its first season in the arena that is Starcraft 2

Woot!!! GLGL , should be awesome

:0, is there any list of attending schools and contact personel for them? I'd love to play but I don't have the time to start my own team so if my school doesn't have on I'll have to skip.

CSL is tons of fun. Maybe one day the various regions can have a huge playoff together.

cant we move it to anyday but saturday?
The amount of times i had to delay going out to play is shocking haha
Lets hope we can find more OU players!!!
|
Awesome Look forward to defending our title <3

Just going to say that please don't be put off by the idea that this is only open to players of a particular skill level. Last Season there was a wide range of skill on display from bronze all the way to GM. The point is more about representing the University in a (e)sport that we enjoy and having fun. Looking forward to representing Durham again next season!

Cannot register my school because the form does not accept Umlaute. Universität Zürich --> School Name: You have entered illegal characters Zürich --> Location: You have entered illegal characters

Did anyone of you talk to any university officials before signing up, regarding legal issues, representing the university etc.?
Another question: Are the matches always on a saturday?
|
Wow we got some Swiss and Portuguese teams signed up! This is getting awesome, cant wait too see what other countries join :D

@RayBeans: very legit question, can any of the admins or players from the first season give their experience on that? On the subject of legality and discussion with the departement.

While, to my knowledge, no team was recognized as official by their colleges, some still had support. CCCU was asked to compete in a varsity match by their college, and we received several tweets from an official twitter of UWL cheering them on in the final!
