So I finally managed to make my 720p stream work ok by upgrading a lot of computer parts, but one thing still bothers me. I have an upload speed of 2.3-2.4 mb, but if I set the maximum upload in Xsplit to anything higher than 1300 kbps, my stream starts to stutter (fps loss and random freezes constantly). No problems in-game at all, just the stream.
From reading around here and other websites it would seem that you can and should set your bitrate to about 70-80% of your total upload speed. So I was just wondering why I get that lag anytime I go above 1300 kbps (which is only about 55% of my upload speed).
If it matters, my quality is set to 10 and audio is set to 64k.
Thank you!

Well probably your connection is not very solid and has drops at some point. probably thats why you get stutters and stuff like that, if you computer can support higher bitrate the only problem would be the connection.

Thank you I will try that. That thread is really useful as well :D

This is very interesting! Has anyone checked whether changing the cluster actually changes servers? If so, it would mean an infrastructure problem with justin.tv.
