and for some offtopic return questions
1) When it says you can return it when its unopened or in original condition, can i still return it? All i did was open up the case, nothing ripped, all the packaging still fine, no signs of wear on keyboard.

For returning it, yea, you can return it. Put it in its original packaging and explain to them, that you opened it up and already had one or something.

right now im using a razer black widow. cheap, affordable, and just kickass. being a "tactile" keyboard doesnt mean that sound when you hit they key to the bottom, its actualy the "click" in the middle that makes mechanical switches like the browns, fukkas, or blues different. brown mechanicals have a different feel from scissor switches, which keyboard did you try out? oh and if youre going to buy one definitely the siig one the dude mentioned or the razer black widow. to your other question, i think yes. if you didnt touch it, it should be fine cause the product is still in its original condition.

Do not go back to membrane or scissor switches, trust me, just get a blue or brown mechanical. Play with it for a week and you will never, ever want to use membrane again.

Play with it for a week and you will never, ever want to use membrane again. Yeah, for what it's worth this basically describes me. I was fine with my regular keyboard but more or less just because I spent $ on a cherry brown and after literally a week as above there is no way I would go back for sc2 gaming. There is an adjustment phase but I definitely prefer it. (There's partly a psychological aspect to it as well to be honest. HuK has a hoody and cushion etc etc, I bring out my "real" keyboard. Part of my gaming ritual. But it is also objectively better : D .)

There is a bump about halfway down in a keystroke, that lets you know when the key has been activated (with non-mechanical keyboards, you have to press the key all the way down for the keystroke to happen. Mechanical keyboards activate about halfway down.) On brown switches, the bump is silent. With blue switches, the bump sounds like a mouse click. So, the answer is yes. And it is definitely a different (and better) feel.

It could be any sensory alert, whether it be a click sound or a touch feeling that the key has gone past the trigger point. Cherry Blue's are both.

It could be because I bottom out like every keystroke but oh well, I'm relieved I didn't get the blue, everyone would be hella pissed. its the bottoming out. before that, its silent.
