Zerg 1.8k diamond
1) Jungle Basin - Too hard to take third, have to be aggressive or a T or P opponent will pump shit out hard. 2) Steppes of War - Close distance too short, very BO dependant 3) Delta Quadrant - that siege tank on cliff hits both naturals... hard to deal with, since the non-rock naturals are out in the open to other attacks.
Also wanna thumb down Lost Temple cos of the stupid tank/thor drops on cliff

Shakuras, Scrap, and Meta. 2.5k Zerg.
Switched over to try something, and now I run into ZvZ once every 10 games if I'm lucky.

I thumb down delta quadrant, scrap station and blistering sands because they are not CSL maps =P
Also, the only remaining non CSL map is steppes which I actually dont mind...
I play random/protoss/terran so maybe thats why ^^ (although in GSL zerg is 5-1 on that map...ZvT)

I have nothing thumbed down because some tournaments don't allow you to vote down maps. So if you run into a map you don't know a good BO for, you're kinda screwed :\
Doesn't the GSL not allow map veto'ing anymore? I think I heard some debate about that.

Terran, 1.5k plat thumb down scrap station, blistering sands scrap station usually sucks for terran, and i dont like backdoor rocks for sands

Blistering: Back door rocks make Any early pressure extremely difficult to deal with. 3rd is near imppssible to take. Turteling terran FTW...
Jungle: PvP is just a nightmare on this map. 4 gates all over the place. Zergling run bys and bane busts are too effective with long distanced double entrance.
Crap Station: Honestly? I need not explain...
The other one Id like to vote down other than SS is DQ. Sure PvT is good on it, but PvP is another 4gate nightmare along with extremely difficult FE possibilities in PvZ. I have to wait a LONG time for those backdoor rocks to go down, I don't enjoy being that vulnerable that early on.

Terran, 2300 diamond 1) jungle basin: the design of that map is horrible and a tvz is unfairon it because zerg has almost no possibility to win. I like to keep it a little bit balanced.
2) blistering sands: the backdoor rocks irritate me.
3) shakura's plateau: the backdoor rocks irritate me.
I never siegedrop abuse on maps like lost temple / delta so I see those maps (for my play) as balanced.

I currently haven't thumbed anything down as I like to think I should be able to win on any map if I am going to win in the first place (perhaps a bit idealistic of me I admit). If I were to make any choices I think it would be Shakuras Plateau, scrap station and jungle basin. 1900 Diamond Protoss.

2.2k zerg, thumbs down dq, jungle and LT. Jungle's a terrible map for anything beyond a FE, I don't feel like dealing with cliff drops on LT and I'm not a fan of the distance and expansion patterns on DQ.

I have jungle basin thumbed down because taking a third is absolutely horrid on this.
Also steppes because of the short rush distance and siege tanks/collosus play with the ramp next to your natural.
I don't remember the third.

Blistering, Got sick of losing to the backdoor rocks Scrap Station, PvZ I always manage to lose to mutalisk, PvT drops Shakuras, Honestly, I think I didn't give this map a fair chance. Played on it a little when it came out, disliked it for reasons I no longer remember, and veto'd it.

I want to be able to down thumb 5 maps again... not only 3 like now... I hate maps I dont like.
maps art: close map very close very rush dont know name. then 2 new maps I ve never seen before and Never want to see and know.(I really dont know which, I played in beta and recently bought this game and I dont recall these maps so I had to bann them)

I turned off all my vetos since I want practice on every map, but if I was going to veto...
Protoss, 2200 Scrap station, Blistering, Delta
And if I had a 4th it would be steppes.

2k zerg SoW, DQ, LT
Steppes, because its imba as fuck, not only is the bases too close but there are very abusable terrain vs zerg (and positionally imbalanced in top or bottom also).
Delta, because the 66% chance to spawn close positions (almost as bad as SoW), wide open nat, back door base (that zerg doesn't use so it really only helps P and T), cliffs that can be abused, Fucking DRocks all over the map.
Temple, because Cliffs are abuse, high chance to share gold/3rd (and then ur 3rd is all the way across the map).
Runner up is JB because this map is just terrible, Also Metal is garbage when you spawn close and you can never take a gold, SS has positional imba, some minor pathing errors on XNC as well as wide open nat, SP has abuseable terrain as fuck lucky for me most T/P don't abuse it like they should, BS is impossible in a late game when you split the map or whatever (especially vs toss),
All the maps suck really bad. My 3 favorites are SP, ZNC, M (but they are still bad).

I'm changing Xel naga and Jungle Basin evey now and again. I think JB is worse for zerg, but i lose twice as much on Xel naga, so experience shows otherwise.
edit: reasons Steppes: imbalacned and terrible map, short distance stupidly coming ramp from main to natural Delta: imbalanced and terrible map, short distance, T/p can go allin wihtout allining actually cuz they can just sit back and exp in case their attack isnt effetive. +cliffs Xel naga: P/T can exp to their 3rd on the way of attacking you. And that base is a gold. And they can backstab your nat. You cant wall off that backstab locations, they can. The non-gold 3rd base can be attacked from low and high ground, lifting up and down w/ drops... You have to spread creep 4 ways

2400 terran with nooooo maps off. I hate scrap vs zerg love it vs toss. Hate jungle vs toss, love it vs zerg.
It's a mixed boat.

1700 Platinum Zerg, I don't downvote any maps becaus I want to find go strats to win on any map especially since blizzard seems focused on only introducing small choke ridden maps or cliff heavy maps, less shakuras.
However if I do decide to downvote i'd downvote...
-Steppes: The rush distance on this map is ridiculous for zerg, both toss and terran are at an extreme advantage.
-Delta: Same as steppes except if they ever removed the debris from the in base expansion, then it'd be a little less bad...problem is not only is there a 66 percent chance of close positions, but there is positional imbalances to boot.
-Last but not least, lost temple over jungle basin...as i've actually come up with some pretty sound strategies to take 3rds and defend them on JB.
