So I was wondering why he didnt attack with his very agressive build ( 2-3 rax with factory early) i was like hmm maybe somehow he knows i have enough units to stop it. hahaha cuz its a pretty much an all-in build. So i go on and beat this guy. He freaken turtle and float his buildings to delay the inevitable.
After, i went to look at the replay and put it on his perspective. EVERYTIME I MOVE A LING OR MAKE A NEW BUILDING HE LOOKS DIRECTLY AT IT. which is looking into nothing in his perspective
Can anyone help me report this? i went to this site and click the form but it takes me to a blank page wierd.
http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=21136&pageNumber=1&searchQuery=report hack
his name is "alt" by the way and not that good of a record
heres the replay: https://www.yousendit.com/download/aHlSSXR6Q0NtMEpjR0E9PQ
Edit: the replay didnt work so i had to edit it

That's not useful for people who actually want to verify that they hack before they report them.

You can always go back into your match history after verifying.

Hmm? He didn't seem to be in doubt post-game, and if you mean people reading this thread, they should watch the replay then report.
I don't know, how else would you "verify" a hack? Isn't it by reporting, and then Blizzard having the final say?

im pretty sure he hacks... just watch it. i want blizzard to ban him

That was... very satisfying to watch Clearly 150apm vs 50 > maphacks. And it was pretty clear he was hacking.
|

|

I played against someone who did the same exact thing and noticed it when I wathed the replay. I was amazed at how he countered everythin perfectly and wanted to just watch the replay for looking at my mistakes and for some odd reason pressed "1" (his perspective) and he was just staring off into my base every few seconds even though he didn't even bother scouting the whole game.
I reported him on bnet, and filed a claim on bnet's site and one of my friends also reported him for maphacks. This was like a week ago and nothing happened to him I'm pretty sure =\. Not surprised honestly that nothing happened.

Grrrr... I've lost to this guy before.
|
Yeah, he definately hacked. And the nubcake lost too.
Definately report him ASAP.
|
Yeah, after watching the whole replay, it definitely looks like a map hacker.
On a side note, I still find it sad that zerg can have so many bases and still have to work so hard to kill a Terran. Glad you won in the end though, tired of seeing all the noob Terrans killing everything in sight.

One of the most obvious moments showing he was hacking was when as soon as you got your mutas up, he immediately built two turrets at each mineral line. Then as soon as you sent your wave of mutas to his main, all of his AA units immediately went to his main.
He also seemed to constantly check all of your bases and the exact spots of where you kept your army. There's no doubt in my mind he was using a maphack.

What? We seem to be agreeing... you should watch the replay before you report hacking or else you are relying solely on your suspicions which is bullshit. that's unfair for blizzard and unfair for the player.

really? you can report them this way?

Its a shame that these threads are becoming more and more frequent, and blizzard seems to be doing shit all.
Gathering data my ass. Keep on gathering while people keep on having to play these people for months. Thanks.

I have an idea for an easy fix. What if players are temporarily banned ( 2 weeks? ) if given say 4 (random number) hack reports against them within one day or reach a maximum lifetime amount of what ever seems reasonable. Also make multiple reports from the same player NOT count more than once...so your asshole friend cant get you banned .... again just an idea and wouldn't be that hard to code assuming the reports are actually recorded
