And your Ace match winner is:
Bisu's win streak helps SKT advance. "That period meant a great deal to me"
Bisu: I was very glad I was able to rally my team to victory from a dangerous spot.
Q: One day, 2 wins. You were able to carry your team forward into the playoffs.
A: I was very glad I was able to rally my team to victory from a dangerous spot. Recently, my performance has been terrible, so I wanted to prepare hard and shake it off during this post season. I'm very glad that I was able to obtain a favorable result. However, there are still many matches to be played, so it's too early to rejoice.
Q: This post season, you've won all 4 of your games.
A: I really don't know how I've been able to achieve these results. I just played and my winning streak continued. This type of win streak isn't something that characterizes my play (Laughs). I was nervous because of my memories of previous post seasons in which I was on a losing streak, but thankfully the game played out smoothly today.
Q: Today you played 2 matches against Snow.
A: That was quite unexpected. The two previous days, Snow was put on Match Point and had won 2 consecutive games, so we thought he'd be on Match Point again. However, it seems as if our opponent changed their strategy in order to snipe me. For the Ace match, I expected Effort to come out, but instead Snow was sent to play. This just goes to show how much confidence CJ has in Snow these days.
Q: I'm curious as to why you've been doing so poorly during the regular season.
A: It'd take too long to explain (Laughs). Right now, I'm just thinking about my current matches. That period of time meant a great deal to me.
Q: After the match, you were so happy you cried.
A: I didn't cry today. I was just wiping the sweat off. I did however cry in the past after I defeated Roro in an Ace match. We aren't the champs yet, so it's not time cry.
Q: Best has already disclosed his ceremony plans for the championship. Have you prepared anything yet? (Reference to Best's shirt ripping plans)
A: No, I haven't made any preparations. Because Best's strong and has a good physique, he can do such ceremonies. But my physique is nowhere near as good as Best's. I can't dance either, so during Group Selections, I rarely prepare anything. However, if I think of anything good to do, I'll make sure to do it.
Q: Your post season performance, it seems as if you've broken free from your regular season failures.
A: My current performance still cannot make up for my regular season failures. We aren't champions as of yet, so most importantly, we must focus on making it to KwangAhnRi. But my match schedule is too tight, and it worries me a bit. I'm already feeling tired.
Q: The OSL Group Selections are tomorrow.
A: I haven't really given it a thought yet. But because it's been so long since I've been in a Group Selection, I'm eagerly awaiting for it.
Q: Final words?
A: Right now, we're starting to prepare for the playoff run. I wish everyone can continue to persevere onwards so we can make it to KwangAhnRi, and I wish the fans will keep cheering for and supporting me!

Thanks to KyuuKyuu for Best's interview:
- You defeated SkyHigh.
▲ I lost to him recently, so this time I played with purpose. The coach told me if SkyHigh were to play, then I have to win. I'm very glad I won.
- You have a 3:0 record in the post-season.
▲ This time against CJ I played three times, against three different opponents [Movie, Hydra, SkyHigh]. Looking at the results, I have a 9:1 record against CJ in matches, so whenever we play CJ I'm always confident.
- What was the reasoning behind using "strategic play" [DIRTY DEE TEE CHEESE] today?
▲ Playing standard would have been fine too, but I wanted to show that I can also play "strategically". Plus I really liked the strategy (?) I used today. When the DTs were killing the tanks I was very excited/relieved/happy/etc.
- What's the secret behind being so good against CJ? [Why you so good Do Jaewook?]
▲ Since my results have been good, I have a lot of confidence in myself. Even though my PvZ still has room for improvement, but against CJ even if I meet Effort I would still be confident in winning.
- What were your feelings when the match ended?
▲ Before the match began today, the team were all very confident, and we had analyzed and understood our previous losses well [Not too sure about this part], so we thought we would win comfortably, but the match went to the ace match anyway. Still, we all believed in Bisu, so we were confident in advancing. Also, even though the SKT Failzergs continued to fail [Okay he didn't phrase it like that], I hope they'll do better in the rest of the playoffs.
- The Protosses have been doing extremely well this post-season.
▲ Before R5, our Protoss line was said to be weak, but in the playoffs we definitely showed our strength. In the remaining matches we'll continue to practice diligently to win,.
- To get to the championship, there are still three more teams to go through.
▲ Since I'm out of individual leagues, the more matches I can play in Proleague, the better. I want to play more, and I want to do more ceremonies (laughs). Winning more also means my salary will go up, and as a progamer, my image will also improve (laughs).
- Last weekend, your mother showed up to cheer for you.
▲ When she came last time, I didn't really look after her, so a lot of netizens criticized me [not sure about that], but she never told me she was going to come so I had no idea she would show up. I only saw her when I was going to the washroom, and it surprised me. I wasn't pretending not to have seen her, I hope people don't mistake me for that type of person. Her encouragements gave me a lot of strength, and I hope next time she'll tell me when she's going to come to my games (laughs).
- Last thoughts?
▲ To win the championship we have three more teams to go through, if the fans come out to cheer for us we're confident we can win. I hope everyone continues to cheer for us.
Thanks to TanGeng for the Canata interview!
Canata
Thought on your victory?
We lost on the first day, and then fell behind 2-3 on the second day. The situation was dire. I am very happy we were able to advance in this manner.
What were your thought when you watched from the bench on the first and second days?
Every since I joined SKT1, I have always played in the post-season matches, but this time I was sitting in the chairs watching. It cause me great anguish, but I also understand that I have much room for improvement.
What did you think after hearing that you would make an appearance today?
I didn't have much thoughts. My opportunity today is more because Soo wasn't performing well rather than confidence in me, so I approached today's match with the mind set that it could be my very last opportunity.
Recently, you haven't made many appearances.
Before, I would have thought that I had to appear in matches, but now I know that my opportunities to play won't be often. Although, I am already a disposable member of SKT1, but I still hope that I can proved my value to everyone with these few opportunities. I really need to make the most of every appearance I make.
Your opponent was rookie BByong.
I mainly practices TvT, but the opponent I had in mind was Iris. After I saw who my opponent was, I was even more confident and looked forward to accomplishing my mission. I gave it everything I got.
It seems that SKT1 hasn't played a PO in ages.
It might be physically draining, but we are very happy when every we win. There will be a lot of games this time and we will grow with every victory. Although our road is still long, as long as we continue to work hard, we still be able to get to Hwang AnRi
It will be physically tiring?
In the regular season we got third place, so there isn't much we can do about it now. But our next opponent is in the same situation, so it's all very equal. However, I am still worried about our Zergs who haven't been performing very well. Recently they have fallen into a slump, but we wouldn't have made the playoffs without their power.
Even a player like me with 10 straight losses this season can will, so I believe that they will be able to get out of their slump and perform well again.
Any last words?
I would like to say thanks to coach and team leader who gave me an opportunity today. In the past I would have looked forward to making an appearance every match, but now as the captain, I only hope that I can take advantage of every opportunity to fulfill the captains role on the team. I will put forth all of my effort to help my team get to the Hwang An Ri.
Coach Park Young Woon: In the quarterfinal we will give an even stronger showing.
Thoughts on advancing?
This is my first time in the Round of 6, and the road to the championship is really long. When I found that that my opponent was CJ, I though that we would win easily. But after losing the first set, it really woke me up. It gave me headaches just thinking of how many more games we would have to play against them. After we won the second set, I realized that this matchup is really interesting. Right now I only want to say, in the quarterfinal we will show everybody a stronger, more powerful SKT1.
Isn't it hard to be organized with such a busy schedule?
It is really hard. We have another SPL set on Saturday, but before that we have help our OSL and MSL contenders in their competitions. It has really impacted our practice and schedules a lot. On one hand I would like to apologize to everyone, but we will still give our players plenty of opportunity to rest and recover.
Comment a bit on the games today.
When we won the first two games, I thought our luck wasn't too bad today. I was right in believing Coach Cho's consistency (predictable). I wasn't too worried about losing games three and four because we had prepared for that beforehand. But I was really disappointed in Hyuk's loss in game 6. I had really hoped that he would end the match there and then.
This time, your Zergs struggled to a record of 1-7. It was horrible.
Even though it's very hard to recover from a slump, after recovering form, it's really easy to fall back into the slump again. As for our matchups for our zerg on the 9 maps, although our record was very dismal, it showed us that they weren't too bad. It was just their opponent was too good.
After seeing so many rookies perform so well for CJ, I am positive Coach Cho has a real talent.
Which player did the most to help your team advance?
It's Bisu. There is also loser of three games, Fantasy. Although he lost, he always put forth great effort. And there is Best who has recently found excellent playing form.
Who would you like to see in the quarterfinals.
At first I really feared MBCGame. During the season, we trailed behind them in the standings, and every time we played them, we lost badly. That's why I was afraid of their magical power over us and wanted to face Wemade. However, Wemade isn't so easy either. 5 game sets and 7 games sets aren't the same. Besides, magical power is all psychological and merely in our heads. We also have four people with plenty of magic, so right now playing against MBCGame would intrigue me.
Who are these four?
Coach OOV responsible for coming up with strategies for team, Coach Kwan that helped the Protoss regain their form, Coach Choi that helped revive our fail Zergs, and Boxer. They are of great help to our team members. I believe their magic is second to none.
What is your prediction for the quarterfinals?
Throughout the season, we have experienced joy and we have experienced anguish. As defending champions, everybody had high expectations for us, but it seems like we have been a source of disappointment rather than a cause for joy. That's why we will work hard at KwangAnRi and bring lots of joy to our fans.
