kOs was the new face of the terran race along with the likes of Nada and Xellos back in the days when the gaming paradigm was slowly but surely shifting to the macromanagement style we are used to seeing these days. He was a breath of fresh air, a player who stormed onto the scene with a style that the viewers were yet to be familiar with: he was the Cinderella Terran.
People complemented kOs for his crisp usage of factory units (mechanic play) and his obscene macro and micro after successfully pulling off an early expansion. I believe Oov once mentioned that kOs was the player who understood 1 factory expansion play the best.
That being said, all I remember is that he lost a very lame game to Silent Control after his coach said that he was basically invincible on that map (any Korean fan who has any interest in the scene will remember the "Xeno Sky" incident). His prime came back when I was really preoccupied with my studies.

I thought I was around for this, but I honestly can't recall anything about it!

In the Proleague finals between SKT T1 and HanBit, coach Ju Hoon put kOs in the last set against Silent_Control which was a bizarre decision since kOs hadn't been performing well at all. He said it was because kOs understood XenoSky than any other player on the team. He ended up losing to Silent_Control and now everyone thinks of XenoSky when they think of kOs. It also wasn't the first time coach Ju Hoon did something weird like that, he was a Sports Psychology major in college, so ... yeah, he made some strange calls here and there during his time with T1.

People who have been giving all this info about kOs, really should edit it into Liquipedia! As of now the page about kOs i empty, which is a shame.
