Naniwa murked Thorzain just the other day! I think it's about 80% odds that Naniwa takes this... probably pretty soundly. His PvT is maybe unmatched.

Both said in an interview that they didn't play seriously as they didn't want to show off any strategies whatsoever for the upcoming TSL match.
The match they had was at the local internet café (which for the record, I've regularly visited for 10 years ♥) so I don't think we should think too much about it.

Feedback the Thors?

Gonna be an epic final, I kinda wish I was in New York for it. Well the Livestream an a couple of friends isn't that bad either.

This finals are going to be awesome no matter what!! It might not seam but both players are very modest, specially Thorzain:
After a few seconds I realized what had just happened. I went to the living room to tell my mother and sister that I'm going to USA in 1 week.
Just a baller!!
I can't wait for this finals!!
With an average game length of 7m36s over his 6 games in GSL3, this is a no-brainer. BitByBit pulls more SCVs than yo momma at a club on Mar Sara. ♞

My respect for Hasu has grown 1000 fold when I read that he played straight up macro games in most of the games. This is not to detract from Naniwa who played excellent mind games in set, just a compliment to Hasu

What a ride for Thorzain. Most of us outside of Europe hadn't heard of him (I'd heard of everyone except Nightend, Thorzain, Cruncher and Ciara personally). He beats a GSL champion, then the defending TSL champion, then a two time GSL winner who was considered by many to be the best player in the world while they were both in Europe (so lag could not be blamed) and finally a player considered to be the best TvT player in Europe. If he beats Naniwa in the final this will have been one of the sickest runs through a tournament ever.

Kas said in his interview with Empire.Hobot, that he can't fly to USA. So i don't think, that he played this seriously. They would give him tech-loose anyway.

Naniwa
"But he can't perform his utmost at LAN I think."

The way thorzaine lost kinda easily to nightend at The Gathering might be a proof fo this, i want Thorzain to win, but he needs to play top notch to be able to beat Naniwa i think.

Too bad the finals will be played on sunday as i will be gathering up with buddies on saturday to watch the gsl finals and we'll probably watch the 3rd place match between Kas and Hasuobs too.

Close win for Naniwa is my bet. I like Thorzains development, but Naniwa still has more experience in pressure situations (i.e. a LAN event). Either way it's going to be huge!
I just love video games, what's your excuse?

Part of the interview was done after he won but before he learned about Naniwa winning, and that last question was after. I liked both answers so I kept them both in.

Gratz Thorzain. Will be cheering for you in the finals.

Nani and Hasu's matches were nostalgic, it felt like i was watching WC3 again. hope the finals will be the same.
