I hope he improves that, otherwise TSL games casted by him will be really annoying to listen Husky talk talk talk; and just assumes thing because you have seen him dual cast almost a decade ago (slightly extravagated).
Why do you think I'm basing this off some old games Husky dual-casted?
I admit I don't watch any of Husky's casts, so I don't know if he is improving or not. What I said was based exactly on Jinro vs Tyler games when very often I found myself wishing Husky to hurry up his comments so Day9 could have space to talk.
I'm not saying Husky is a bad caster or have little game knowledge or anything like that. I'm just saying he could leave to his co-caster a little bit more of space.

User was banned for this post. Justified criticism is fine. Writing "Oh I thought TSL wouldn't hire mentally inept people" is not.

I dont get u guys, Wheat is great comentator i would put him over every other caster on the list. I know it kinda depands on what you like and need. I for example dont need anyone to explain me whats going on in game, therfore i prefere someone who will keep me entertained, like TB or Wheat.
The most important thing to me is camera movement, who will be in charge of this? One of the casters, someone else? Apologies if that was answered earlier, i must heve missed it, if thats the case.

More space? I personally was under the impression that Day9 wanted to talk a little bit too much at times..
I think it's just that you like hearing day9 more and just want other casters to talk as little as possible :p
And, my bad insinuating that you based it off old videos, but your post made it sound like you did.

I love the lineup. Very glad to see Husky.
LMFAO at the Artosis popup. I was like o.O

I love the Artosis pop-up gif!
Excited for these games.

Yikes @ permanent bans. Seems a little harsh.
Anyway, excited about Chill casting, definitely my favorite caster.

I hope I get to experience day 9 + artosis dual casting some epic matches

I like all the casters, but it seems like they're all from North America. Some more diversity, such as European casters like TotalBiscuit, would have been nice. Still, great set-up and map pool!

I don't know, TB would go, but more diversity *imagines Day9 + french/polish/arabic speaking commentator combo. :p

I'm glad for the mixture, I prefer casters that entertain and commentate more on the action. So there 's for everyone a bit . TotalBiscuit or Khaldor would have been nice...but well, even so: HYPE! Oh and this pop up gif from Artosis...Man i laughed so hard :D

Husky isn't perfect, but I think he's a solid play by play commentator and he'll be a great addition. He gets way too much hate IMO.

I'm psyched for ALL these casters, really awesome Maps look solid too.

can't wait love the pop up with artosis

He has a lot of energy and he truly sounds like he is loving what he is doing when he casts. No offense but having a lot of energy and passion does not change the fact that he knows very little about the game and the fact that he is overall a bad caster. Like I said before, Husky is great for the community and he is good a what he does (making videos, promoting stuff etc), casting isn't one of them and in my opinion a tournament with the best of the best should have the best casters. Artosis was a top American Brood War Terran who moved into casting for events such as Blizzcon, the WCG Grand Finals, and the first two TSLs. Actually, Artosis first moved into casting for the long-forgotten Ascension tournament (never completed). That is the first time I heard of him as well. He did the "expert" roll with another co-caster (what was his name?). I remember his mic was bad and he had a dog barking in the background. That tournament was amazing! Gentho!

OOOOOH shit, so excited for this. Such an awesome map pool too, using the MLG versions of the maps is an awesome idea too.
Love the Artosis popup also, I nearly spit my water when it first popped.
|
This is gonna be great, awesome touch with the build order and results hiding! Hopefully this means the guys can practice for TSL without giving up their build orders and of course, no spoilers during the competition!

really liking the map pool. it's good that we're not going to have the issue of imbalanced maps or spawns influencing the outcome of the tournament. and since you're removing close spawn from metalopolis, why not use shattered temple and remove close spawns from there, too?
and super super surprised by husky. it's a pleasant surprise. sure he may not be the most analytical caster, but he doesn't pretend to be. it'll be fun to have some of that fun, obnoxious husky humor and enthusiasm thrown into the casts.
man i'm looking forward to this. a major sc2 tournament that i don't have to pay/stay up for.
