Also Phelix let me bum off your charger You're lucky that I brought my charger to work today, because I forgot to charge my phone at home. While I am close to Chinatown, I am not free to hang out. I can always rely on you when it comes to bumming chargers

Was fun, although I wish the drinks weren't so expensive ;; I scored a 500 point jackpot on that spinny machine when no one was watching on my first try, up about 1500 tickets on the night.
Have fun in Korea SNM!

Have fun in Korea SNM! Seriously, being a wizard is cool and all but you shouldn't use your magic on ticket-redeeming machines.
And thanks! =3

So there was this one guy playing the stacking machine... and the machine owed him like 47000 tickets. And he had like 25000 in two trash bags already.
Was fun, do again.

Sorry to Hijack the thread, but was curious. Why are there no Lans in NY? Is the community so small here or no internet cafe places to host one?

i really just wanted to post them without making a blog Hey, I remember you! It was cool meeting new people from far-away places! You were from California, if I recall correctly!

Well, since Cybercraft closed down, there aren't any LAN cafés suitable to our needs. This being that one has to be in NYC (most people are unwilling to go anywhere outside really, due to travel costs and time), and one that's big enough to host everyone that comes (upwards of 60+ people).
Also, another reason is that there aren't any Tournament Organizers willing to organize an event. My feeling is that a lot of the attendees are competitive players, and wants nothing to do with the behind the scenes. Games tended to end pretty late, if I recall correctly, the finals of the tournament ended around 10-11 PM, which detracts a lot of people because they don't want to travel the subway on the late-nite schedule/curfews/personal preferences.
