a few friends of mine have sager laptops and so Ive decided to on buying a sager laptop. my budget caps at $1000 and expectation wise I'm hoping that whichever i choose is able to last for at least 2-3 years before becoming severely outdated, as well as be able to run most of the games available currently on med settings.
after shipping and taxes are calculated, i can get the NP5165 for around that $1000 dollar range, and it has a GeForce GT 555M

or i pay about 90 bucks less and get the NP5160
http://www.reflexnotebook.ca/index.php/sager-notebooks/sager-np5160.html which ultimately appears to be a similar laptop with a weaker gpu.
so i was wondering, if the two laptops ive suggested are pretty good laptops, which should i choose? should i skimp and get the laptop with the weaker gpu or should i spend a bit more on the better gpu?
are there other laptops out there with similar specs but with better prices?

The 2GB of VRAM as opposed to one won't make a significant difference in performance as far as Starcraft 2 goes. Their video card benchmarks for SC2 are also very close, so it's really up to you if you want to go for the GT 555M. http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphic-Cards.13849.0.html
As far as I can tell, they're both pretty solid for their prices, though I'm not all too sure on the USD to CAD conversion rate :>
EDIT: turns out the conversion rate for USD to CAD is 1 to 0.98. So overall, those two laptops are pretty good deals.
