how to play music while streaming with xsplit

Grampz United States2147 Posts April 12 2011 07:48 GMT #1 im having trouble playing music through justin.tv using the xsplit program. i add a media file and it doesn't work, and my microphone doesn't make noise through the stream either, they both work fine and my drivers are updated and such. does anyone know how to fix this! thanks a bunch

Ive played music before but all i do is open spotify and press play and it plays on the stream aswell. Or do you mean something different completely?

Grampz United States2147 Posts April 12 2011 08:03 GMT #3 what is spotify? im totally new to this. i have everything set up working fine except for the volume. nothing comes out of the stream. not my mic, not my music. sorry for being a noob!

Aleski United Kingdom46 Posts April 12 2011 08:25 GMT #4 hmm, that sounds more like Xsplit just isnt recieving an input from your sound card/drivers. Chech in Xsplit you dont have the Mic and Volume turned down or muted. (ignore spotify, its just a media playing program // read it as windows media player).

xlnt Sweden106 Posts April 12 2011 11:48 GMT #7 You have 2 different sound cards/outputs, 1 you play SC2 sound on, preferably the headphones, and 1 for speakers, that's the easiest way to get it to work like Tyler. :>
