*Pardon my complete newbiness when it comes to computers*
I recently bought an acer aspire ax3400-e3212 desktop. Because it has a smaller box I realize it cant support the high end graphics cards, and my 220 power supply probably doesn't help much either.
The computer itself is great, Windows 7 64 bit, AMD Athlon quad core processor, 1 Terabyte HD, 4 GB DDR3 memory. The Big let down is the Nvidia Geforce 9200 integrated video card.
To the point, 2 Questions,
1) Is there a good graphics card which i could run StarCraft 2 on decently (right now everything's low) Whats the best card out there for me without upping my power supply?
2) How much damage $$$ am I looking at?

Here's a pretty good graphics card guide, complete with reviews. You can choose your price range and it'll tell you what the best card you can get is within that limit.
For a good graphics card you need atleast 500W but i'd say 400W is minimum. PSU(power supply unit) is pretty cheap from around $30~60 for an okay one. As for graphics card, I'd suggest a old 4870 or 4850 is good enough. That is if they even sell them anymore haha

Really!? Wtf O_o I went to NCIX and they didn't have any. WTFFFFF PS. Buy an ATI Radeon 5850, then you can overclock it to an 5870 = P
Why not upgrade your power supply and stick part of a bigger card out the back of your case? That's what I did and it works great. Most power supplies are universal in size, so even if you have a pretty small case you should still be able to upgrade it. I would at least look for a 400-450W PSU depending on the card you get (check the min requirements for the card)

Definitely get a measure on how much room you have and find a card that will clear your measurement by a cm or two. Then find out how powerful of a PSU it'll need.

LOL well I don't mean he should aim to stick a 9" card out the back, but it's better than nothing if it's <= a cm too big or what have you.
