Huk uses surface 1030 The only exact if not better alternative is Xraypad Thunder 8 these were really popular around same time as func and everglide, specially among top american CS teams. www.x-raypad.com mine is still going strong after years and years of use for some reason i find all the hard surfaces which are made by gaming gear companies pretty weak in compare to func, Xray, Icemat (SS i-2 but still :p) and all the decent clothpads are somewhat copies of the ol school Allsop/Allsoap? Also WhiteRa uses Thermaltake Meka G1 keyboard, Thermaltake Azureus / Logitech G1, Thermaltake Dasher mousepad, rox.kis.BratOK uses lycosa and an imperator / golithius mousepad?

Some pro gamers wear gaming headset but majority of them use regular apple earphone looking earphones. I was wondering if there is a specific gaming earphone they use or it is just a regular earphone that goes around for 30bucks. All the headphones you see over their "inner heaphones" are Razer Banshee, and I believe I've seen a few players when they took the banshee headphones down, are the regular Apple headphones under it, I don't think that matters so much for them Mainly used to block the noise

I thought the reason all the BW pros used it was just that it was sort of the standard keyboard in PC Bangs so they just got used to it and it's cheap and easy to replace. But now I see some foreign pros use it as well, is it just a hype/style thing or does it have some actual advantages over other keyboards?

I might buy it here: http://starcraftmecca.net/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=76 since so much progamers use it. Is there any specific benefit of using this keyboard? Any reviews from TL users?

Is there any specific benefit of using this keyboard? Any reviews from TL users? The actual keyboard isn't that good. Its just standard in PCBangs and most BW progamers started with it, and probably was quite standard. Most top SC2 players who aren't too picky/are a bit better off use Filco (TricksteR/Fruitdealer before getting sponsored by nKeyboard) and that other guy on my list who uses a Leopold. Lots of foreigners are using mechanical keyboards, although I don't see someone magically jumping leagues or even rising ranks just by replacing keyboard. Its mostly for typing feel (you do a lot of typing normally as a student or something similar) and durability (you won't really need to buy another keyboard again)
