soO is one of those names that feels inexorable from the idea of StarCraft 2 to me. Cheering for him and being let down in GSL final, after GSL final, and grieving the losses with my fellow nerds is an unforgettable memory for me. Just as basking in his glory after winning IEM Katowice is as well. Conversations with old school faces like soO's warm my heart. It's no surprise that TL ranked him #7 in the GOAT series that is playing out before our eyes. It's with great pride that I share this one, I hope you all enjoy it!

soO was more than just a great player - he was a great role model. Always humble and down to earth, always picked himself back up after a grand finals loss to try over and over again. And when he finally took down that IEM, the whole SC2 world was united in cheering for him which is a moment only rivaled by Serral's 2018 Blizzcon in terms of emotion. Whether he was your favorite player or not, just about everyone shed a tear when he finally lifted that trophy.
