Maps these days mostly follow the same basic design so it's not like we are learning 9 completely different maps like we would have to do in broodwar. There are a few outliers in this map pool which keep things interesting.

Chris_Havoc United States600 Posts October 01 2023 06:30 GMT #4 I have no issue with it. It was 8 maps in the pool in Wings of Liberty, and that worked fine. I wouldn't mind having one map be a 4-player map just to liven things up, but that's probably just me.

sidasf 94 Posts October 01 2023 20:50 GMT #5 Larger map pool with nice looking maps are what's keeping me in the game. Would have otherwise quit due to this dogshit patch (might still if it's not fixed). They should consider adding one more veto, though.

Yoshi Kirishima United States10366 Posts October 03 2023 08:45 GMT #7 Harder as a mech player since knowing the map and how to wall and defend etc are so important, but seems great for tournaments, and also great if it lets us include more experimental maps into the pool Sad that black lotus map didn't get in though, it was so unique

ejozl Denmark3463 Posts October 03 2023 14:57 GMT #9 This is nice, though it should come with +1 veto. I wish this was the only change to SC2, since the balance changes are pretty awful. Just revert to the Queen Walk patch, before they got in an messed everything up, and balance the maps around this patch.
