For anyone that doesn't know me, i am Tassad, Teammanager of Platinum Heroes and i do watch alot of SC2 and think i know what i am talking about when ranking players strength/team's strength. I am still going to look forward to seeing how wrong i am going to be about ranking the WTL qualifier teams. And obviously, i am hoping that Platinum Heroes makes it back into Code S.
To explain the Bracket shortly, 5 Teams make it to Code A, where Platinum Heroes, Berserker Esports and Invictus Gaming join them. Out of these 8 teams, 5 will qualify to WTL Code S.
Checkout the full bracket here:

Disclaimers:
- Since we have only 3 Code Teams, I am going to throw them into the full ranking on the places where I think they belong. In player strength, they do certainly belong in the Top 8/you can make an argument for it (IG, but more about that later)
- The format is regular Season format, so no all kill. This means having 3 solid players (or more) is more valuable on average than having 1 very strong player
Code S:
This tier includes the teams with no real competition that will surely make Code S.
1.Basilisk
2. Abydos/NV
3. Mystery Gaming
These 3 could go in any order depending on the daily form of players in my opinion, but Basilisk with Serral+Reynor certainly do have the most potential but can be upset since trigger is weaker than the average player on the other teams. Following, we have the powerhouses of Cure+Creator+Nightmare and Mystery Gaming with Classic+DRG+Nice.
Fighting for A Spot in Code S:
Besides the top 3, there are 2 more places up for grabs. These in my opinion will be fought out by the following teams:
4. Platinum Heroes
goblin, Shadown, Vindicta, DnS, ArT, HateMe, Aqueron, Rodzyn - This Roster is very wide and hard to prepare for since anyone could be playing without losing much quality. Shadown nearly made it to IEM. goblin is capable of beating anyone on a good day. Vindicta is called Windicta for a reason. I could go on but with this for mat consistency is key and PH simply has the most consistent roster of the other competitors
5. SLT
SLT first has to get through the qualifier. But they have Spirit, who is the strongest player in this bracket not on a super team and with Cham they also have another solid player who made IEM Katowice. But besides these two, its a roster of solid Chinese amateurs. These are not known for most opponents, but still are not on the level of the average player like PH or the teams behind SLT. So Cham and Spirit have their work laid out and have to be careful of any upset potential, but their quality is strong.
6. Berserker Esports
Spatz, BattleB and Dimaga are a solid roster which has more quality as a top 3 than the rest of the field, certainly on average, and all of them have quite some experience and potential.
Makes Code A:
7. IG
Well, I have to put IG somewhere.... In my opinion they are weaker than some teams in the qualifier on average, but they are already invited to Code A, so this placement made sense, since we have a few contenders for the last Code A spot.
Contenders:
8. CSO
CSO has 3 solid players who have made some strides, especially Milkicow. And they have won Snipers Team League and the Rakshir Invitational together vs some tough competition.
9. Starcom
Starcom has Rattata who played multiple Seasons in Code S and has the experience and skill, but the rest of his roster is past their prime.
10. Psistorm Templars
Psistorm has sent a second team and packed anyone not considered S-Tier on it. These players compete regularly with Berserker and PH for titles in KTL and BTL and are some true online heroes and have a solid amount of experience and mmr.
11. Rotti
Team Rotti is back with Cuku and also got Mixu on the team, so they now have solid players of every race, which is important in this format and why I placed them over K10.
12. K10
K10 - If jumy can keep up the consistency he has shown in tournaments the last few weeks, the sky might as well be the limit. His support roster is not as solid tho so there is a lot of work cut out for him and we will see if his form holds. The support certainly has players with upset potential.
13. Team Gosu
if you were looking for two words to describe this team, it would be NA Madness.
Meomaika fits perfectly in this roster of players who live and die on the NA ladder and the madness it sometimes has, even in high GM close to 6k. Can this madness get them into WTL?
Outside Chances
14. Cranky Ducklings
I often don't place much worth in players of the SEA region, but Ducklings certainly assembled the avengers of this region this time, and they can make their region proud
15. Little Fairy
My friend FightingFrog is joined by Cyan and a bunch of Chinese amateurs - in an all kill format this roster could go further but with this format and him being nearly retired i don't see them making Code A
This tier is pretty hard to rank and would probably be totally different in an all kill format. But in this format the strength of your average player is very important and the consistency of your main roster. Still, these places are very interchangeable.
Happy with a single win:
16.HTT:
Animelovers and always a competitor in any team league but not a candidate to go far, especially without Russian art. They still have some quality CIS players, tho.
17.Mareleesports:
All the Germans players of the Marelekos community banded together and formed a team - Sadly, I don't think anyone of them has hit 6k mmr before, so they are simply here for the spirit of competition and some fun.
18.GDA:
This team simply just falls apart if Rail isn't playing and this is not all kill.
19.Platoon:
Nikich and nobody else it seems...
20.BSL Esports:
imo this roster is weaker than platoons and that says a lot.
21.Pizza logo:
Cool logo and few Taiwanese players with a lp page i know nothing about
