Minor correction, DRG lost g2 to special on deathaura, was not a 2-0
Engage, Zero target Engage, Engage, Kagari target Engage, Engage.

It was actually DRG 2-1 SpeCial, On Deathaura, Special proxy 3 raxed and won.
There's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep trying till you run out of cake.

DRGs games give me great hope today. He looked quite good in ZvT. Probably should have held the proxies as well. Hopefully he gets Innovation in the bracket as Dark or Parting would probably crush him

DRG's presence is one of the most positive events for this year. I'm very happy with his convincing play. DRG plays really damn good and this gives me hope that the overall level of GSL could get higher in Ro8 and ahead. Along with the other recognizable old dogs he will make the future games more unpredictable and exciting instead of watching all the time all the same faces like Maru, Inno, Dark and the rest. 2012 is here again along with Parting and DRG. It would be nice to see Seed again, but unfortunately his glory was pretty short back then.
But for now, DRG plays like a finalist. He literally makes almost no mistakes. He is one of the zergs that hates losing any number of drones and always reacts superbly to any attacks in the back. It is normally for a banshee or an oracle to take at least 2 or 3 drones with it. Not against DRG. And he is one of the players who always shakes hands with his opponents and smiles. Great sportsman.
Of course TY is still in the game and I'm happy with that as always.

Some bloody fun games last night. Just terrific.
TY looked good against Scarlett and SpeCial, but not razor sharp. He talked about this on his stream too. But you know he'll bring his ace game when it matters. Game 1 against Scarlett and Game 2 against SpeCial were real treats.
DRG made some solid plays. I'm sure he won some new fans after this, especially people who didn't follow the scene back when he at the top of his game. Good show. It would be so awesome if he won this season, bringing hope to the comeback-pros everywhere.

DRG giving hope for the army returnees along with TaeJa showing glimpses. Hopefully Byun will join them soon!

That second set between Special and TY was fantastic going to have to watch it in dual FPV form!

I think he should have a decent shot vs. Parting, better than vs Inno. In any case, Dark is definitely the player he'll want to dodge, it seems like ZvZ is his Achilles' heel at the moment

Pretty sure Parting will get 2nd...DRG has a solid shot at top 4

Have only gotten to watch the first 3 so far but damn, DRG looked so good. I feel like I've missed that style of zerg for a long time.

I like how we went from the LR being all "it's disgraceful that someone like DRG can get to Ro8 - it's only because of the 1st seed player swap" to "DRG is legit back, he might advance further"

Nah, TY wanted to personally kick special out of GSL, he did as he told.

I think it's possible to paradoxically have both feelings at the same time

DRG and PartinG winning their respective ro16 groups is something I would have never expected to have happen if you told me a year ago.

Yes

I think he should change back to it when/if he becomes one of the oldest pro gamers left for shits and giggles, maybe when he returns from the army.
