The TvX matchups are also fairly appreciated among Z/P viewers afaik. Big Gabe will become HUUGEEE Gabe and Major SpeCial will deliver us some fine planned All-Ins. You just wait for it Oh and Maru will obviously be in the top 8, doing Maru things and attacking with a 14 pronged attack I really hope Maru doesn’t bring what he brought to GSL vs the World and brings something approaching his best
I have no real preferences over who advances from the group of death my main hope is all those guys bring their absolute A game.
Shame there aren’t more Korean Terrans but there could have been. Whether people think the game is balanced or not Innovation did not have a good year at all, TY has been really impressive the last few months he just hit form a little too late sadly.

It's pretty brutal that (at least) one out of Stats, Maru and Serral will be out before the quarterfinals. And with Stats as the biggest threat to Serral in the whole tournament (based on past record) and Maru still the de facto best Terran in the world (despite underperforming in weekenders), there is a decent chance that player will be Serral. At the same time we're in a zerg favoring state of the game, so Serral has the power of balance on his side. (especially considering the recent results - 2 GSL, ST, WCS, GSL vs tW) And it's not like he himself didn't say so Well Maru just won a 25min war of attrition against Dark, both playing standard (Bio vs Ling/Bling/Muta) Yeah, how many games can you win like this in 3 BO5? Let's say it's just 3 3:0s, if every game takes 20 minutes we're talking about what, 3 hours of gaming? Are Maru's wrist ready for this? I believe they're not. What are you saying? If you want to be champ you have to win a lot of games in row. If he can't do that it has nothing to do with your believe that Zerg is imba.... Did you read what I write? It's Serral and Rogue who said zerg imba It's not me thinking it, if you don't believe Serral and Rogue who should you? I certainly won't believe you. My questions is: what has anything of that to do with Maru's ability to play 2-3 Bo5's in one day? You confuse me I haven't made the slightest statement towards any kind of balance. Maybe you should learn to read yourself... You did. See the bolded part in your post. The rest was already answered.

Which was what race everyone was complaining about at the time and less so about Zerg.

imagine a world where time takes a single map off maru ever. these two are not close in skill level at all.

Is the final round of 8, all held in 1 day? that's what liquipedia has....thought it was round of 8 on Friday, then semi and finals on Saturday...??

Imagine being a super exhalted fanboy of Maru and not knowing TIME actually beat Maru 3-2 once; this could lead to nonsensical comments like the one above.
Thus said, Maru is considerably favored over TIME.

I think it is held in 1 day. It's gonna be crazy lol.

Would of preferred to see TY. WCS should placement should be based on skill.. TY should have a spot over the likes of HeroMarine, Elazer, Special etc.

I just realized I can't watch this weekend. Which is bad, cause TL writers are so freaking fast with their articles that I can't visit TL fearing I'll be spoilered.
Then I vaguely remembered some button that makes TL spoiler free or sth? Where is that damn button? ^_^

Thanks for informing me.
Then add +1 (on both sides) to each 2-1, and +1 to only the winner on the 2-0 matches. Yeah I realize that there will be at least a 3-1, but I'm too lazy to fix everything.
But the outcomes will be the same I think

Budget for WCS was probably cut and they needed the stage for something else.

a bad time for TIME ) : But I really hope he can do something surprising us
