The final Code S Ro32 group concluded with Solar and Trap claiming the final two spots in the upcoming round-of-sixteen. Fan-favorite TaeJa and perennial wild card Patience were eliminated during the proceedings. Trap's struggles were particularly notable, as the finalist from the previous season was defeated by Solar in relatively straight-up games (supposedly a forte for Trap), and only advanced after edging out Patience after a tense 2-1 victory in the final match.
The round-of-sixteen will commence after the group nomination ceremony on Wednesday, Jul 24 9:30am GMT (GMT+00:00), with #1 seed Dark having declared that he will punish all those who have put him into Code S groups-of-death in the past (check out Liquipedia for more information).
