2018 Global Finals runner-up Stats made an important step toward earning a Global Finals return, advancing to the Code S Ro16 and holding on to his #6 spot in the standings. Though Stats was tested by a feisty Cure and Hurricane, he was able to advance from the Ro32's Group C in first place.
Second place finisher Cure was the co-star of the group, slogging his way through a handful of drawn out, split-map brawls against Hurricane and Scarlett to advance.
The Code S Ro32 will continue on Wednesday, Jul 10 7:30am GMT (GMT+00:00) with soO, Dream, Zest, and herO competing in one of the toughest groups of the first round (check out Liquipedia for more information).
