The Code S RO32 continued with PartinG becoming the second 'un-retired' player to reach the RO16 this season, following FanTaSy's earlier success in Group E. PartinG defeated fellow WoL veteran DongRaeGu as well as Cure to secure his RO16 spot, advancing in second place from Group G alongside Dark.
Group F saw the Protoss pair of Trap and herO advance over KeeN and Scarlett, shifting the RO16 race ratio further in Protoss' favor. While the the RO32 began with a fairly even balance of factions, the RO16 threatens to be heavily Protoss-skewed—8 Protoss, 3 Terran, and 3 Zerg so far—much like the prior Super Tournament.
Have to say it was a pleasure watching Parting play today. While often cheesy, his play feels unique and interesting with unusual compositions and his trademark storms was fun to see.
I have to admit, I had Cure beating PartinG, but god DAMN was he good in some of these series. I thought for sure he was on tilt after the first loss to Cure.
Glad to see PartinG making it back to the ro16. Hoping it gets to make it to the ro8 this season. His PvT is looking pretty beasty with those insane early game aggression/all-in builds.

Yeah I don't know if barely beating Cure twice in your best matchup warrants being a ro8 GSL player.
during the last super tournament i got bored with PvP and skipped some games. i would hate for it to happen again in this gsl ro16... this really has nothing to do with balance (i barely play as it is), only viewer experience.

He didnt even beat Cure twice. He lost the first match against him and then won the revenge one.
