With all the hype built around the two, it'd be halirious to see both Maru and Serral got eliminated in the ro8, which I find very likely.

Would not be surprised at all if sOs shows up on Friday and stomps Maru. He's never been one to dominate for a long period of time like Zest or Stats. He's just an everlasting title contender that imo has the scariest Protoss play when he's on his game.

Moreover, sOs was behind at that stage and I think he made a call to be overly aggressive such that HeRoMaRinE would not be able to stabilize and get into a critical army mass that will obliterate sOs' army. So I actually think it was a good strategy.

sOs > Maru Special > Stats TY> Rogue Dark > Serral sOs>Special Dark > TY Dark v. sOs grand finals. Edit: I just realized we only get 7 more pro games this year. So sad .... ;`<

I wouldn't be to sure about that. Last year I heard they were using an weather anemometer and kit to predict results (in vane). This year I hear they're using some prediction-enhancing stuff (in vein). Next year they will look at their guess in the mirror and see what they see (in vain).

I would love to see sOs vs TY in the finals, especially since we've never had a PvT at the BlizzCon finals, but sOs vs Dark should be pretty good as well.

That would be a great finals if they weren't in such bad form this year. I am hoping for the highest quality games so if Maru or Serral fall I would at least want TY, Stats, or Rogue since they are the top of each race.

I really hope he wins, but Special beat Classic and gave Rogue a run for his money, and saying that Stats' form looks good because he beat Has and Showtime feels a bit ridiculous.

Special > Stats Rogue > TY Serral > Dark Maru > Special Serral > Rogue Maru vs. Serral finals. What we all hope for. :D

Maru theatrically threw Super Tournament against sOs, so his brother could go to BlizzCon. It was the best thing for him, for the fans, for JinAir, but it is effing true. Going to Blizzcon as a team... Maru, Rogue, sOs is way more important than an extra ten thousand dollars for Maru (and few thousand for JinAir). This matchup will be real, sure. But, I say No, do not give credit to sOs for "beating Maru" at Super Tournament. Maru would feel like shit if sOs didn't go. SuperTournament Ro8 or semi-final is not that big of a sacrifice after 3 consecutive GSL championships.

Had Maru beaten sOs in the Ro8 and then beaten Solar in the Ro4, sOs still would have gone to Blizzcon. This is why it doesn't make sense to believe that Maru threw the match. sOs made the situation much more stressful on himself (and his fans) by defeating Maru.

Holding your fate in your own hands is now considered the "stressful" way of reaching your goal? If Maru had won and then beaten Solar, all would be well, but if Solar had somehow inexplicably gotten the better of him, it would have been devastating for not just sOs, but the team as a whole. sOs beat Solar (by the skin of his teeth), but if he had failed, it would have been fair game: he was the sole responsible, and he failed. As is, it clearly worked out. And it probably would have been an easier win for Maru, but obviously in the GSL ST2, there was far more on the line for sOs than for Maru. It's not necessarily a throw off the hungrier, more motivated player wins. Moreover, they probably had the whole team training sOs and Maru to beat Solar, and not one another. Now at blizzcon, there is clearly no reason for Maru not to be just as hungry as sOs, and presumably he has been training PvP for both sOs and Stats. I expect this match to go very differently. Yes, it's a teamkill and there is probably no protoss who has played more games vs Maru than sOs, so wonky shit will happen. But Maru is the better player and should beat sOs handily.
