I'm just skeptical about whether this is possible, since I don't think there are any games out there with a feature like this other than CSS, which doesn't really count.
Would it be difficult to implement "classic mode

and also the 3d environment and engine and physics and every other new thing would make it different, so like this wolf guy said just play BW if that's what you want dude

Same speed exact same units and unit cap etc. Looks like their expecting the project to be complete in less than a year. My guess is that means it will be out before SC2. Erm. Didnt project rev get halteD?

And I'll appreciate it if a graphics-updated BW is introduced as a mod which come together with SC2. Ain't it nice to see your favour units in 3D?

From their website: But a new game and a new engine also open up possibilities. Starcraft II will have plenty of new goodness, but perhaps for a feeling of nostalgia, simple fun or -heaven forbid- just for a change some of us might come to want a return to some 'old' Starcraft for a while, but of course with the added spice of the new engine. So what are we going to do? We don't know yet; we'll use the coming time to reassess our position and goals, but I can tell you one thing: Hell, we ain't done yet!

But average customer doesnt fucking care about better game or best RTS ever, all he wants is something neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew ; no problem it sucks ass, it has random damages, huge luck factors, newb friendly fts, small level gap, imbalance, ITS IN 3D AND ITS NEW These guys are gold for the industry. Unfortunatly it never helps the quality of the games to improve, on all supports. Im not speaking about sc2 here, since it 'could' be very decent, who knows.

Once your apm starts climbing up camera controls only get in the way and most certainly should not be assigned to a mouse button The camera control is probably similar to WC3, in which you can zoom in or out, and angle yourself downward and swivel with the pgup pgdn, home, end, ins, del, etc keys
