I didn't post too much here, but I do visit TL every day. I know exactly how you guys support me all these years. Thank you so much for all your cheering and warm messages. I appreciate it.
Last month, I announced the retirement after winning HSC. Although I am not a progamer now, Starcraft 2 is still my love of the life. And I guess that maybe I will enjoy this game more than before. I mean, the pure happiness of playing. I really wish I can continue to pass my passion to you guys.
From Tomorrow, Jan 4th, I am going to stream on Douyu, a Chinese streaming site. It will be my first streaming after I retired. I have prepared some surprise, and I guess everyone will enjoy it!
That's cool I too have problems opening Douyu, unfortunately. PartinG's stream wouldn't work for me either. Did any one have the same problems and managed to solve them? Is it a matter of some geographic lock or maybe some browser-addons don't work with Douyu?
I think Douyu pays very good deal to high profile players for their exclusive streaming. Unfortunately, Douyu's server doesn't work well for foreign network, I hope they can solve this problem if they want to sign more Korean SC2 players for streaming (which would happen imo).

Same, and I really want to watch him.
You can turn that off, learn how in the guide Bojas linked.
@Bojas I use firefox and I have to reload it like 4 to 5 times to get it to work sometimes.

It seems you have to go to the site - the embedded player doesn't seem to work (for me at least)

Douyu probably pay better But exactly how much is hard to say. Douyu's viewer number is highly unreliable as well.
It seems that Chinese stream sites (douyu, bilibili, pandaTV, longzhu..etc) are competing with each other quite furiously since last year and they are willing to offer good money to get exclusive streamers. Good to see douyu are getting more starcraft 2 steams going. It is one of the most successful stream site in China so far and they seem to get some big investment from Tecent so I'm sure they have enough money to keep this going for a while.
EDIT: Seems that the stream will start soon. MMA will play against DRG for a showmatch tonight. Also MMA got a Weibo account:http://weibo.com/u/5819166291?is_hot=1. But I will not be surprised all those tweets are written by some PR working for Douyu since they are in Chinese.

I guess so. It is the Taiwan version client in Traditional Chinese so he can still play on KR server Props for him to be so considerate for Chinese viewers.

I mostly noticed because I know how the units sound in the Korean version tbh.

Where is MMA at right now? Do we know?
I don't know. Back in Korea probably? I did not hear any news suggesting him traveling to mainland China or Taiwan. There are a lot of Korea streamers (mostly girls ><) on Douyu so I guess he can stream from Korea just fine.

Douyu's view count is not reliable. It's more like a cumulative viewer count. Or simply inflated.Actually douyu's site does not say the number is viewer count as well. It is called "人气值", which can be translated as "popularity".
But judging from the chat speed the actually viewer number should be quite good tonight.

You are wrong. He said on Weibo that it's his friend helped to translate.
