Rumor has it that it might be an LCS type thing. The past few months Blizz has exceeded my expectations. Color me excited.

To promote their own Dota-like game? Sounds legit.

Surprise. Icefrog has been working on both DotA 2 and Blizzard All-Stars. Because Icefrog isn't a man. He is an organization. A secret organization, like the Templar or the Illuminati.

Anyone have any idea why Blizzard is doing all of this in Korea and not promoting e-sports in NA or EU?

Why would they do it in NA, and not promote esports in KR or EU. Or EU, and no support esports in KR and NA. Korea is the biggest hub of esports in the world for good reason, and if you're going to announce something to do with OGN (as it seems to be) then you should probably do it in the country where it's extremely relevant.

Well no really, but has to do something with the Korean associations (Kespa, GOM, OGN).

There has been plenty of talk about WCS and region-locking.
