How do you feel about your victory today?
This was our first match at SpoTV and I am so happy that we won undefeated. I think that if we keep on playing here at SpoTV, the games are going to go well.
You played your match at a new studio for today.
When I saw the picture at first I felt shocked, but then after I came to the studio and played my game, I was able to focus well. It kind of felt like when I played in an overseas tournament so I think it was fine. The other players also didn't really express any negative concerns. It was new. It was really important that we didn't feel discomforted with this new setting.
You won a TvZ on Caldeum. How did you prepare for that game?
Personally these days, I have a lot of confidence in my TvZs. There really wasn't a moment where I was worried. I just prepared for my game with the thought that it was just another TvZ. There was never really a crisis.
It is common for Terrans to struggle against Zergs.
I prepared extensively so that I could show a macro game that was different than that of any other Terran player's. From here on out, I think I'm going to be able to show the many things that I am capable of.
Was today's performance an example of the different macro games that you are capable of?
I was only able to show about half of what I am capable of. The situation was not in my favor and it was different from the practices. But I do believe that my TvZ win ratio will continuously remain stable from here on out.
What are your goals for this season?
The goal is 35 wins. If I am able to achieve 35 victories earlier than expected then that's when I'll aim for something higher. I can't say for sure yet as to whether or not I will achieve this feat since I've only played three games, but as long as I don't fall behind on my practices or fall ill I should be able to achieve this.
Any player that you specifically want to defeat?
Yesterday, I lost to RorO in the GSL. I normally don't have games where I feel disappointed afterwards but for that match specifically I felt exceptionally disappointed. If we get to face Samsung KHAN then I want to go up against RorO.
How do you feel about the new maps?
I think that the maps overall favor Terran. From a Terran's perspective, I would like it if the maps just remained like this. But I can't help but feel like they will alter several of them for round two.
Anything else you would like to say?
We played at a new studio today so I hope we can progress a whole bunch since this was just the beginning. I want to thank the the large number of fans for coming to this new studio. We will work even harder so that we can show fun performances.
